UK iTunes

8. Staying at Tamara's

9. Hold My Girl
17. Shotgun
59. Paradise

This is the highest placement for Hold My Girl yet. George is performing at The Royal Variety Performance tonight, and then on Sunday he's performing at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year ceremony. I'm hoping he'll push Hold My Girl at both.

spiritboy, you know I love ya, and I'm sure you're happy to be proven wrong, but I have to bring up this gem again. I'm sorry!

Next goal is 3xPlatinum and 1 million copies sold eventually.
The Brits and his March UK tour surely will help achieving this.

UK

2 (3) Staying at Tamara's
56 (48) Wanted on Voyage

33 (37) Shotgun
50 (32) Hold My Girl

23 Christmas songs above Shotgun... back in the top ten next week? I think it'll perform strongly as we head into the New Year, especially with George's appearance on Jools Holland's Hootenanny, where I'm sure Shotgun will be performed.

Global Album Chart year end

38 Staying at Tamara's 1,048,000

691,000 from the UK, so another 357,000 from outside that territory. Impressive considering that the album hasn't taken off worldwide in the same way as it has in the UK. :D

Ireland:
3 (3) Staying at Tamara's 41 weeks (No. 2 for 1 week)

All but one weeks have been spent in the top 10 so far - not bad for an album with a No. 2 peak!

7. Shotgun (+3)
25. Paradise (+2)

3. Staying at Tamara's (+4)
74. Wanted on Voyage (RE)

Wanted on Voyage has sold almost 1,350,000 in the UK and continues to sell strongly in catalogue sales. I can't see Staying at Tamara's -- currently above the 700k mark -- equalling that threshold, although I think George is in a very comfortable position anyway. He definitely has more identity as an artist now. :D

UK iTunes

4. Hold My Girl (+2)
6. Shotgun (+1)
26. Paradise (-1)
82. Budapest (RE)

4. Staying at Tamara's (-1)
85. Wanted on Voyage (-11)

Top ten would be wonderful. :D He has The BRITs Are Coming lined up next Saturday 12 (5pm, ITV). It'd be nice to have Hold My Girl pushed there but I have a feeling he'll do Shotgun again.
