Yes, it is. Her previous biggest show had ticket price average below $100 and less audiences.

PS. She did not have much stadium shows.

If this is true, then the average price for this date is $ 116, which is below $140 or $330. I am confused.

Besides, Rihanna hit 6.12 m $bosoffice with 50,554 audience in 2013, its average price is $121.

I used to think britney's average price is higher than riri's for this date. :(

Britney had 11 consecutive Top 10 hits in Europe and every single from "...Baby One More Time", "Oops!... I Did It Again" and "In The Zone" reached the Top 10. In fact, no single from "...Baby One More Time" or "In The Zone" peaked lower than #3.

From 1999 until 2005, Britney only had two real flops in Europe ("I Love Rock 'N' Roll" and "Boys"). Everything else was a solid Top 10 hit. In 10 years (1999-2009), she scored 6 #1 hits, 6 #2 hits, 14 Top 3 hits, 19 Top 10 hits, and 20 Top 20 hits. 8-) The chart stopped existing in 2010.

"Overprotected" could have been a much bigger hit had they released it in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. #4 in the UK, #3 in Italy, #2 in Sweden, #6 in Denmark, #9 in Ireland, #7 in Finland, #9 in Norway, #9 in Belgium....so much potential.

I can't find the full year-end charts for 2003 or 2004, but I'm 100% sure "Everytime" made the Top 15/20 in 2004. Does anyone know?

Amazing!!!!
Unlike other things that wither, she preserves. She’s a constant in a world of relentless flux. She’s a beacon of immortality. Bitch, she’s Madonna.

Thanks for that amazing and useful post Instinct.

Now we can have a better picture of her singles in Europe until 2010. She had a lot of European hits and I'm really glad to see "Womanizer" as one of her biggest ones ever in Europe.

No problem! I'm surprised by how massive "(You Drive Me) Crazy" was. I feel like Britney fans underestimate how huge some of her songs were just because they didn't chart high in America. People say she could never sell singles but in reality, the girl was scoring hit after hit pretty much everywhere.

For comparison purposes

America (Billboard) vs Music & Media (Europe)

Billboard, 1999:
#2 Top Billboard 200 Artist
#1 Top Billboard 200 Artist (Female)
#3 Hot 100 Singles Artists
#1 Hot 100 Singles Artists

Music & Media, 1999:
#1 Top 10 Artists (Singles)
#1 Top 10 Female Artists (Singles)
#6 Top 10 Artists (Albums)
#5 Top 10 Female Artists (Albums)

Billboard, 2000:
#1 Top Billboard 200 Artist
#1 Top Billboard 200 Artist (Female)
#18 Hot 100 Artists
#6 Hot 100 Artists (Female)

Music & Media, 2000:
#1 Top 10 Artists (Singles)
#1 Top 10 Female Artists (Singles)
#3 Top 10 Artists (Albums)
#1 Top 10 Female Artists (Albums)

In 1999, Britney was the biggest female hit maker in both America and Europe (overall she was #1 in Europe and #3 in America)
In 2000, Britney was the biggest female album artist in both America and Europe (overall she was #1 in America and #3 in Europe)

And between 2001 and 2002, Britney was among the top 10 female album artists in both America and Europe

2001:
#3 Top Billboard 200 Artists Female (America)
#9 Top 10 Female Album Artists (Europe)

2002:
#2 Top Billboard 200 Artists Female (America)
#9 Top 10 Female Album Artists (Europe)

^ Yep, "(You drive me) Crazy" was indeed a huge smash hit all around the world 8-)

BTW why do you think "Baby one more time" album went Diamond and was selling like crazy? Obviously because the singles were being hits that clicked with the public.

On par with Instinct's European charts analysis, I've decided to do a little research about Britney's impact on the American Billboard charts. For this brief study I selected 10 popular artists from the same generation all emerged between 1997-2001 who showed the most relevance, success, and competed each other on charts for nearly 20 years, this in order to see where Britney ranks and how she did compared to all of her most competitive peers of the time.

For this we're simply considering the impact on Album sales and singles performance on the American year end charts, we're focussing only on Top 10 placements on The Billboard 200 year end chart and the Hot 100 Artists year end chart. (Special thanks to 'Instinct" who helped in this research).

Billboard 200 - Year end chart: TOP 10 BEST SELLING ALBUMS OF THE YEAR.
* The Billboard 200 year end chart displays the most successful and best selling albums of one specific year

Eminem: 8 albums / 8 entries.

2003. 8 Mile soundtrack #7
2005. Encore #2
2006. Curtain Call: The Hits #6
2009. Relapse #9
2010. Recovery #2
2014. The Marshall mathers LP 2 #5

Britney Spears: 5 albums / 5 entries
1999. Baby one more time #2
2000. Oops I did it again #4
2002. Britney #8
2004. In the zone #8
2009. Circus #6

Linkin Park: 3 albums / 4 entries
2001. Hybrid theory #6
2002. Hybrid theory #5
2003. Meteora #6
2007. Minutes to midnight #7

Beyonce: 3 albums / 3 entries

2014. Beyonce #2
2016. Lemonade #4

Justin Timberlake: 2 albums / 2 entries

Coldplay: 1 album / 1 entry
2008. Viva la vida or death and all his friends #7

Jennifer Lopez: 0
Jennifer Lopez never scored a Top 10 selling album of the year in the US

ANALYSIS
Eminem takes the lead with a great total of 8 best sellers, however as you can see no one else (besides Eminem) surpassed Britney who scored a pretty decent total of 5 best sellers, while Spears' recent years have been a struggle on the respective chart people forget she debuted as early as 1998 and up until 2009 she was still ranking albums among the Top 10 sellers of the year, the 5 albums total puts her as the Female artist with the most Top 10 selling albums of the year from her generation (a nice lead considering most peers seem to rank an average of 2 - 3 albums among the Top 10 sellers) and the second artist overall (behind Eminem) with the most impact on the albums year-end charts.

... Now lets see the singles performance.

Justin Timberale and Beyonce have been the Top 10 hitmakers of the year in USA in 4 occassions, only Britney comes close who did it in 3 ocassions, however Spears is the only act from her generation holding the particular distinction of making the Top 10 on the Hot 100 artists year end chart in 3 different decades, in 1999 Spears ranked as the #3 biggest Hot 100 artist of the year proclaiming her first hitmaker status in the music industry towards the 90s, one decade later Britney hit the Top 10 for the second ocassion this time ranking as the #7 biggest Hot 100 artist of 2009 which led her to close the 00s decade as a consolidated hitmaker, the new current decade started and by 2011 Spears experienced particular Radio and singles relevance prompting her to rank as the #10 biggest Hot 100 artist of that 2011, this feat also led her to be the only female artist from her generation to make the Top 10 on the Hot 100 artists year end chart in the 10s decade (so far).

That was a great post @MrLeonix! Very useful and insightful. I'm sure Britney would've ranked as one of the Top 10 biggest Hot 100 artists in 2000 had they released her singles physically. It's impressive that she was among the Top 10 biggest Hot 100 artists in three different decades (90s, 00s, 10s). And it's cool how "Circus" ranked higher than "Britney" and "In The Zone". 8-)

According to Billboard, Britney was the 6th biggest female Hot 100 artist in 2000 and the 3rd biggest in 2004, The latter was a very competitive/male dominated year as she was only #20 overall. Britney has been among the Top 5 biggest female Billboard 200 artists for 6 non-consecutive years.

1999: #1 (#2 overall)
2000: #1 (#1 overall)
2001: #3 (#15 overall)
2002: #2 (#6 overall)
2004: #2 (#9 overall)
2009: #4 (#6 overall)

^ Thanks, and yep, 2009 was probably Britney's second most successful Billboard year of her career. The market's size changes every year and by 2009 the market was obviously pretty different than in 2002, back in those early 00s years if an artist pulled a 4m selling album in US it was enough to rank among the lower regions of the Top 10 year end chart (#8 - #10), but in 2009 what "Circus" did was enough to make it at #6 on the year end chart which means "Circus" was a relatively more successful album than "Britney" and "In the zone" in comparison to the US market conditions of their respective years of release.

Overall in 2009 Britney was one of the biggest album sellers, hitmakers and artists of the year, according to BIllboard year end charts, she had these results:

#6 Best selling album of the year
#7 Hot 100 artist of the year
#7 Artist of the year

Only the 1999 year was better in terms of year-end results. "Oops I did it again" was massive and placed at #4 on the year-end chart but she missed the Top 10 on the Hot 100 artists list (probably due to lack of proper physical releases), "Oops" is still pretty much biggert tho. But honestly "Circus" was bigger in US for 2009 than "Britney" and "In the zone" were for 2002 and 2004 respectively. Thats what I call a comeback!.

^ cool, she may not be "huge" on Spotify but I'm she snatched a milestone there.

She is now the Artist with the most 100million streamed albums on Spotify , and all of her studio albums (100%) over the 100m mark. :D

Very good, if we assume all 10 shows* had this number, so the tour might get 18 million from 10 shows and total including Israel 6.5 million would be 24.5 million. (Almost equal Vegas in 1 year).

*some date may get less but some more.

I can't find the source either, I contacted that user via private message asking him for a source and he didn't reply, he just ignored me, I can't find any of that info in any other site, or Britney forum and it doesn't appear on the Billboard current boxscores either.

So I'm affraid he could be posting false information, or perhaps he has some insider's info and we'll see those figures among the next weeks on the Billboard's current boxscores, but as for now there isn't a source and if that user is posting fake info then (and IMO) he needs to be banned inmediately from this forum.

Some random info I found looking through Music & Media/Billboard archives

According to Billboard and Music & Media, BOMT (album) peaked at #1 in Belgium for 8 consecutive weeks :o

9-9-5-6-3-3-4-7-7-5-4-3-4-3-3-2-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-4-5-8-7-6-9-10-9-9-9-?
They used to post a combined chart (Wallonia+Flanders) until November 1999, which is why the chart run is incomplete and different from this:

>>> Flanders: 15-10-07-05-05-04-03-05-12-12-10-08-08-08-05-05-04-03-03-03-02-02-02-02-02-02-05-10-11-08-08-09-11-12-11-12-12-13-11-09-08-11-13-13-11-08-06-08-07-08-10-13-13-19-23-24-31-33-36-35-35-35-39-50-43-40-41-43-//-50-48-OUT (69 weeks)
>>> Wallonia: 28-19-14-09-06-06-06-07-06-07-07-07-07-07-07-06-04-04-03-02-04-04-02-02-05-05-06-06-08-10-08-08-13-15-15-14-10-10-14-23-22-21-17-15-14-13-11-15-15-15-16-18-18-20-22-23-20-18-18-23-27-30-35-32-40-46-50-//-49-OUT (69 weeks)

Updated "I'm A Slave 4 U" stats in the UK

Soundtracking Britney's first reinvention, and doing wonders for python awareness thanks to Brit's MTV VMA performance of the song, I'm A Slave 4 U reached Number 4 back in 2001. To date, it's sold 231,000 across physical, digital and streaming equivalent sales. So far in 2017, it's notched up 970 downloads, including 39 this week, and it's been played 720,000 times (25,000 in the last seven days).

Calm ya knickers - have these figures been posting anywhere else?

They seem realistic to me...

I suppose we should wait until next week's BB boxscore.

Still very nice, average 1.83 million per show. I estimated 18 million from 10 shows.

Hongkong was impressive.

Bangkok was very very good only new date not sold out (244 tickets). Average ticket price was more than Hongkong. :o
Next era she should visit Bangkok again.
