The gap on streaming songs was only 600k last wk 13,68m vs 14,26m for SOY.
Digital sales predictions this wk are 72k vs 59k for TWIL
The AI difference at Mediabase is 36m

If they want the #1 in two weeks, they have to discount TWIL on Friday.

AN APPROPRIATELY DAMNED, POST-EASTER TOP 20

Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. (TDE/Interscope) has officially surpassed 200m streams and is on its way to a possible 300m first-week number. While Drake’s record of 385m first-week streams of More Life (YMCMB/Republic) is safe, DAMN. has already sold more albums with three days to go in the chart week. This puts Lamar in a close race for the year’s top debut, currently held by More Life with 505k. We’ll update daily as the race tightens. Here’s how things look at midweek:

SPS:
* Kendrick Lamar (TDE/Interscope) 490-515k SPS, 290-310k albums
* John Mayer (Columbia) 120-130k, 110-120k
Drake (YMCMB/Republic) 95-100k, 9-12k
Ed Sheeran (Atlantic) 70-75k, 30-35k
The Chainsmokers (Disruptor/Columbia) 50-55k, 17-20k
Moana (Walt Disney) 42-47k, 25-28k
Bruno Mars (Atlantic) 42-47k, 18-21k
Migos (Quality Control) 35-40k, 4-6k
Beauty & The Beast (Walt Disney) 33-38k, 25-28k
Future (A1/Freebandz/Epic) 33-38k, 4-6k [Future]
* Fate of the Furious (Atlantic) 33-38k, 17-20k
Kodak Black (Atlantic) 38-32k, 1-3k
The Weeknd (XO/Republic) 27-30k, 5-7k
Post Malone (Republic) 27-30k, 2-4k
Trolls (RCA) 22-25k, 14-16k
Khalid (Right Hand Music/RCA) 22-25k, 3-5k
Joey Bada$$ (Cinematic Music/Pro Era) 20-23k, 7-9k
* Plaboi Carti (AWGE/Interscope) 21-24k, 6-8k
Hamilton (Uptown/Atlantic) 20-22k, 11-13k

I agree, and it may be the only chance because its slowing down in sales, airplay and streaming. Of course, Lamar will not hold the 60 million streams of this week, but it will still be quite strong :-?

Kendrick will definitely overtake him this week, thanks to Humble's video release and DAMN. being released. Bruno will definitely land at #3 on next weeks Hot 100.

Bruno has a shot to top the Hot 100 in two weeks. Kendrick will fall below him and he should (I swear to god I hope) be able to overtake Ed on streaming and airplay.

Kendrick should have 60M+ streams and 100k+ sales to compensate the wide gap in airplay.

I feel the same way, this time the umber one was missed...regarding the lead single, it was a long shot. However it was number one in NZ and France :)
