YOUR NEW RELEASES (UPDATE)

ScumGang/TenThousand’s 6ix9ine will be the week’s top debut and should be a lock for a spot in the Top 5.

6ix9ine (ScumGang/TenThousand) 50-55k, 19-21k
Vance Joy (Atlantic) 21-24k, 12-14k
Blac Youngsta (Epic) 11-13k, 2k

The Black Panther soundtrack (TDE/Aftermath/Interscope) gets the nod for a third week on top.

On the singles side, Post Malone f/Ty Dolla $ign’s "Psycho" (Republic) scored almost 7m U.S. streams in its first day at the major streaming services. That’s more than his previous smash, "rockstar," logged in any single day.

Post Malone's 'Psycho,' Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Headed for Top Five Debut on Billboard Hot 100 Next Week
https://www.billboard.com/articles/colu ... 0-top-five
3/2/2018 by Gary Trust

The song could start at No. 2 below Drake's "God's Plan."

Post Malone's "Psycho," featuring Ty Dolla $ign, is aiming to roar onto next week's Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated March 10) in the top five.

The song, released on Republic Records, could likely start as high as No. 2, perhaps matching his best bow; "Rockstar," featuring 21 Savage, debuted at No. 2 last October, before spending eight weeks at No. 1.

Incumbent No. 1 Drake's "God's Plan" appears set to maintain its spot on top for a sixth total week at No. 1.

Let's run some projections. Highlights of next week's Hot 100, which blends streaming, airplay and sales data, according to Nielsen Music, will post on Billboard.com Monday (March 5), with all charts posting the following day (March 6).

Based on preliminary data projecting the tracking period feeding next week's Hot 100, "Psycho" could draw over 45 million U.S. streams in the week ending March 1, likely sparking a No. 2 debut on the Streaming Songs chart. It should arrive atop the Digital Song Sales chart, selling over 70,000 downloads. The song is also likely to draw over 10 million in radio audience in the tracking week ending March 4.

"God's Plan" appears safe to stay at No. 1 on the Hot 100 with over 75 million U.S. streams, 50,000 downloads sold and 80 million in airplay reach.

Post Malone should score his third Hot 100 top 10, following "Congratulations" (featuring Quavo), which hit No. 8 last July, and "Rockstar" (which ranked at No. 6 on the March 3-dated Hot 100, after logging its first 22 weeks on the chart in the top five).

Ty Dolla $ign should notch his second top five Hot 100 hit and perhaps his highest-charting. He reached No. 4 in June 2016 as featured on Fifth Harmony's "Work From Home."

Bon Jovi's Back at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart

...while Post Malone’s Stoney climbs 9-7 with 39,000 units (up 24 percent). The latter likely gains due to excitement surrounding his new single “Psycho,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, which was released on Feb. 23 -- but is not included on Stoney. (As previously reported, “Psycho” should start in the top five, perhaps as high as No. 2, on the March 10-dated Billboard Hot 100.)
