She's actually heading towards a million... In ONE WEEK.

I am absolutely blown away. I had no doubt this would be successful. I had expected double platinum in TOTAL at least, and was secretly hoping for a million... Again, IN TOTAL.

This is already there best-selling album released this year after three days. It'll be #1 on the Oricon yearly chart (the current no.1 was released late 2016) sometime during the second week.

The total so far is 808,142 - making it her highest sales week since 1998!

I figured this was gonna be successful, but the numbers are absolutely insane. On par with those of A-list J-Pop boy groups.

I'm not sure but I think it's Utada Hikaru - Single Collection Vol.1 in 2004. (1,403,102)

She's definitely clearing a million then. Wonderful.

I can't wait to see how high digital sales will be.

Tracking week is over. Her final number in the weekly chart (that we’ll know on Tuesday) should be similar to this.

Huge.

''Finally'' is already her 2nd fastest-selling album (highest sales within the 1st week of its release) after SWEET 19 BLUES (1996).

Concentration 20 (1997) sold 824,980 during its 1st week and 181920 (1998) sold 857,100.
''Finally'' outsold the whole 1st week of each album within 4 days! In its 4th day, ''Finally'' had already sold 899,842.

This is insane!!!

Just crazy :o This once again proves that Namie is truly the most beloved female Japanese artist. Selling +1 million copies 25 years into her career.. unbelievable.

Japan Oricon (Physical) Album Weekly

1 [NE] - Finally - Amuro Namie - 1,113,291 copies

Quite significant final boost!

She's just 60k behind SMAP, whose compilation album is already 11 months old

Does anyone know how many more weeks the Oricon charts will be? I sincerely hope we'll get at least one more so she can get that rightly deserved #1 spot.

It's also been reported that this makes Amuro Namie the ONLY artist to have a million-selling album in her teens, 20's, 30's AND 40's.

I don't normally say things like this because I hate diva culture, but, in all honesty: QUEEN.

Diva culture is annoying, but you're right - this really is a phenomenal achievement for any artist worldwide
