Great bump! Hopefully physical sales will follow.
Another 5k week will be awesome and if she manages anything higher than that,it will be amazing!

UK Midweek Chart:

13 [=] Golden

Two new entries at #8 and #9.

Top 20 is safe. Even top 15 is on lock probably thanks to the Channel 5 special

Great news about the hold in the midweek update. The good thing about it is the effect of the documentary won't be too prominent in this update save for a small digital surge the album might have had in the last hour and a half of yesterday night after it finished airing. Hopefully it can climb, but I will be satisfied if it manages to stay top fifteen. :D

Is there any way to watch the documentary online outside of the UK?

^ It's currently just under 81k in total ATM in the UK.

It will only clear maybe 5k this week again, best scenario around 7k (if physicals are good).

It'll take another 3 weeks to get Gold :).

Swiss Album Charts

97 (67) 5 Golden

So despite the promo, this didn't do better than KMO over here. I'm... slightly shocked. Switzerland is often not the hardest market! :-?

Despite what promo in Swiss?

Isn't Swiss chart heavily streaming now?

KMO was almost 4 years ago - again a better physical market. Surprised this has even matched KMO tbh, when Kylie has zero streaming force, and physical stocks and digital sales would be considerably less.

^ German promo = also Swiss promo, basically

And no, it's not heavily streaming. Yes, streaming is included onto the Album Charts, though it's only a small part.

I just expected more because of better reviews, better promo, "Dancing" was all over the TV stations and it's still spring, so it would be easier to get better positions than in fall or winter for example.

^ sorry, I didn’t realise all the German promo she did, was showed in Swiss at the same prime times etc, and that they feed off each other promo wise. that’s my bad sorry!

I also thought streaming was now almost at 50% share on their album chart.

It is quite strange then that it didn’t do better! Maybe Swiss just isn’t feeling more country disco vibe Kylie hahah

^ no problem... Switzerland has a few own TV channels but the German ones dominate, so the promo she did on 'Echo' for example also had a big effect for the Swiss market.

As for streaming, the ratio is quite weird. The three most streamed tracks from an album are reduced to the average of the other album tracks (so they're not fully counted, but they're also not excluded), and then all streams are divided by ten which results into the streaming points of an album. The ratio for these points is 127:1, so 127 streaming points = 1 download / physical copy.

Anyways, Switzerland is just a small country, so it's not a big loss that she isn't doing that well over here. It's still sad though, as the album deserved more :(

Cardi B could overtake and push her down to 11 thanks to streaming.
