Do you have the same but for Chers new album?
It looks like he chose to ignore your request. I thought Kylie fans were known as friendly "lovers". Guess I was wrong.

Deb W - enough is enough.

Key is under no obligation to provide sale figures for any artists. People usually have to pay quite a bit of money these days to get updates regarding sales vs positions and the breakdowns.

Key does NOT have to share this information with anyone or any forum. Even if he is being provided this information from somewhere else, again he is not obligated to share this information.

You have no right to attack him, or a fandom simply because you’re not getting your way or information. You also should NOT be requesting this information in another artists thread. Should you harras him or anything user further the mods will be notified. Show some respect.

^ He shouldn't have to provide the information, BUT he should reply with a Yes or No. It's that simple.

And I stand by what I said. Ignoring someone isn't something Kylie would do / approve.

Calm down, guys.

Debs, no need to be so defensive.
Key already said the person providing this secret info was taking a risk sharing it… So it's not like we can all make requests.

You would have liked a response, even a yes or no, OK. Maybe he didn't read it or whatever.
No need to attack a fanbase.

Stop arguing. Back to Kylie.

Roughly 800 copies sold.

Not a bad drop. I'm hoping she can maintain Top75 this week. 1 more week in the Top75 would be fantastic until the promo kicks in November.
However with her streaming dropping again, I'm worried it won't.

Album: Golden

iTunes:
#36 United Kingdom

Apple Music:
#30 Ireland
#104 United Kingdom

The final single from Kylie Minogue's Number 1 album Golden has been revealed. Music Week has confirmed that the fifth track to be released from the Pop Princess' sixth chart topping record will be the last, and is Music's Too Sad Without You.

[...]

Music Week has also disclosed that Music's Too Sad Without You will be promoted with performances on The X Factor, The Jonathan Ross Show, and Michael McIntyre's Big Show.

[...]

Golden's first-week sales surpassed those of Kylie's previous three albums The Abbey Road Sessions, Kiss Me Once and Kylie Christmas, and the LP is the best-selling 2018 release by an international female artist.

Fantastic to have OC Chart confirm what we already thought was happening. I'm so excited for Q4!!!! Imagine Kylie slaying Q4 and getting another Top40 hit and selling enough to go platinum during Christmas

Its across all their media platforms the report - I wonder if BMG is pushing media hard on this one.....

I am still PRAYING that they are going to release a tour edition of the album during the Q4 push....

If they manage to do:

Musics To Sad:
- Vinyl Release (2,500 copies)
- Discounted single 0.59 amount
- Performance: XFactor - Jonathan - Strictly
- Some Spotify playlists

= Top40 hit for Kylie and first hit for Jack in the UK.

Album:
- Repackage Tour Edition (CD, Vinyl, Picture Disc, iTunes)
(If they include repackage with DVD as 2nd CD - that would be HUGE)
- Additional Golden Cassette Release (Another 1,500-2,500 copies) (Which would 100% sell out).
- Discount in main stores (Buy Kylie Christmas / Golden - 2 for 9 pounds).

= Could equal between an additional 30-50k album sales within the UK after Q4 period.
= Brit Award Nomination
= Best International Female Artist Win 8-) 8-)

I think they shot the Golden Tour early with that in mind, or at least I truly hope so.
Don't bother releasing a stand alone dvd, repackage it with the album so fans buy that + some of the GP and cross that 200k mark.

Opening page.

320k WW as the absolute roof figure ATM

20-30k for US.

US sales are mostly estimate - except for first position.

I do hope you're right! If that's the reason they have planned it very well.

They can do standalone maybe into Q1 of next year. But I do agree, packaged with the album would result in a huge success.

I didn't expect such a harsh drop on iTunes already.....

Though her recent midweek update was 56(55) - so only a drop of 1 place (streaming still missing though). So she will definitely be safe for Top75 this week, however for the next 2 weeks of October we might see her leave the Top100.

Album: Golden

iTunes:
#101 United Kingdom

Apple Music:
#127 United Kingdom

I don't think it sold much more than 200,000 ww. If it has legs trough the holiday season, 250k is max.

Yeah who knows, maybe you're right. So hard to tell these days.

115k - UK
30k - Ger
5-7k - Fra
7-9k - BEL (combined)
Rest of Europe: 30k (Roof figure)
20k - AUS
20-30k - US
5k - CAN
2-3k - Japan
3-5k - SPA
Rest of Asia: 20-30k
4-6k - BRA
Rest of Africa: 20k

300kish

But like I said, most of this would have to be with estimations, and with sales so low - using past averages isn't always reliable anymore.

I don't think Kylie sold in the thousands in Africa... And your estimate for Asia is unfortunatly too high... What about Latin America? I say 2-5k only.

As per the OP - the codes say otherwise.

Yeah most likely - but it's very hard to tell, as I said I'm really just ballpark guessing as averages I've had data for in the past are really no longer relevant or up to date. Some of her albums have sold a lot there, some haven't - and without any concrete data it's always just going to be best/worst scenario cases.

Asia is sometimes a bit easier to tell, she hasn't had to much of an impact in Japan, and China/HK/Taiwan etc etc we don't get much sales info at all. Most likely the 20k is an absolute roof figure.

Yeah true, Latin America could have added a few extra sales to the WW total.

It did not chart at Oricon Digital Albums on second week (#30 album sold 388 copies, so it must had sold 200-250 copies).
Must be close to 3.5~4k

^ thanks so much for the Japan update!

Great to have a bit more information and an understanding of her sales there with Golden. (Which is not marketed to the Japanese market at all hahaha).
