WoW excelllent so nearly 2,000 out of 4,000 sold were in the U.K so great, reminds me of Hand On Your Heart, in the U.K on release week back in 1989 the single sold 2,000 cassettes but the cassettes back then wern't counted, then they changed the rules :)

All those people that doubted her, saying that she wont even sell 20k  y’all better repent for the goddess.

Since it was promoted peak UK time and only announced and support through UK channel, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see 600-700 for the UK.

UK Midweeks
(all Spotify streaming is missing, and Apple Music from Sunda)

Singles
16 Dancing
38 Stop Me From Falling

Albums
1 Golden 33.7k
2 The Greatest Showman 11.9k

Just shows if it wasn't streaming, she would still be scoring top 20-40 hits in the UK.

Awww summer, rightly so, and i'm quite emotional super happy and delighted, yes some thought she'd sell not much,
but there you go, a non sex themed album, and people will love kylie, as i don't like the sex kylie, i like what she does best, pop, dance, country, plus the promo has been huge, we all know that when kylie has huge promotion she does extremely well!! yay :)

So it's at 33.7k basically without streaming (just Apple Music from Friday and Saturday). Definitely it will be at 35k at least with the Spotify streaming included.
Regarding TGS, the difference will be tighter once streaming is added. But fingers crossed for this to remain at #1 till Friday.

Dancing deserves to get that Top 40 peak for once and for all.

The above total does not add up to 33,6k, it adds up to 31,6k so is the rest streaming involved?

Yes i did several times, but in the back of my mind i knew she'd do it, i actually only predicted myself,
first 3 days would only come in at 30k so 33.7k is bit over so i'm glad and happy :)

Never doubted her! Always said she'd sell more than 40k. It was obvious this album would smash Kiss Me Once.

Kylie Minogue heading for a sixth UK Number 1 album with Golden

09 April 2018

By Jack White

Kylie Minogue is heading back to the top of the Official Albums Chart.
The Australian’s 14th studio album Golden is poised to become her sixth Number 1 album and first chart-topper in nearly eight years this week. As of today’s Official Albums Chart Update, Kylie has shifted 34,000 combined chart sales, outperforming her nearest rival by nearly 3:1.
Kylie’s first Number 1 album was her self-titled debut, which hit the helm of the Official Albums Chart way back in 1988, becoming the best-selling album of that year. She also scored Number 1s with Enjoy Yourself (1989), Greatest Hits (1992), Fever (2001) and Aphrodite (2010).

Queen!!!

I'm so happy for the result so far. Selling 34k in 3-day is a great accomplishment after KMO under-performing and considering the streaming effect on charts and decline on physical sales.

I am really surprised by the numbers. seems like the physical sales help her.

Golden has outsold first week sales of the latest albums from the likes of Ariana, Camila, Justin, Katy, Gaga, Shania and Britney.

:D This is sooo great :)

^ Can we not bring comparisons into this

It's not like Kylie is outselling them in the US - remember this is only the UK (Which is her MAIN market).
