Great. Finally Platinum next Friday!

Shallow must be nearing 500k for the BPI (considering it was certified Gold for surpassing 400k a month ago and that BPI doesn’t use ACR).
I think it might reach Platimum by mid-February.

Following the second week of 2019, no debuts make the HITS Top 50 Chart, but the big story continues to surround Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born Soundtrack (Interscope), which spends its 14th week climbing back up towards the Top 5. On the heels of that Golden Globe win for Best Song (“Shallow”), the set hops #10-7, tacking on another 40k and bringing the total-activity number to 2.6m.

I was going to reply that is the addition of the album total units plus its songs total units... But then I realized that, only with the album (1.15M) + Shallow (above 1.2M) + ARUTW & INLA (above 1 million combined), it would be already more than 3 million... Plus all the other songs.
Then I thought maybe it was the album pure sales + the songs SPS. But that would put it at 3 million at least as well.

So I have no clue where those 2.6M come from or what they mean... :-?

Maybe 2.6m is the SPS total of the album?

I hope they'll release another single after award season ends, the soundtrack is too good to be left on its own.
Mariah saved Xmas and Gaga is saving Pop and Hollywood.

Today, January 12th of 2019, Gaga's latest album release becomes her most streamed album on Spotify. This record was previously held by The Fame and closely followed by Joanne.

A Star Is Born has managed to gather a total of 795.667.591 streams, while The Fame is at 792.781.699. Album totals are:

A Star Is Born (w/ Dialogues): 795.667.591
Joanne: 767.343.503
ARTPOP: 542.648.336
Born This Way: 525.629.068
The Fame Monster: 710.176.206
The Fame: 792.781.699

Currently, ASIB's daily avarage falls around ~6M. This number has increased recently after the Golden Globe win for Shallow (which has also seen a great spike in streams).

Additionally, Gaga's The Fame Monster (International Deluxe) is sitting at 1.504.804.875 crossing the 1.5B mark. This compilation of two CDs contains The Fame, The Fame Monster and the track Retro Dance Freak.

Congrats, Gaga!

And again, The Greatest Showman was the biggest album in the UK, but none of the artists have been nominated.
Mainly due to soundtrack album, same with this album. It's not just Gaga.
