Why we have to fight so many times about B2B sales.

It has sold less than 4 million WW.

According to Sony Music, B2B has sold more than 3.7 million WW and Christina has sold 25 million albums WW.

Okay - lets clarify:

:: B2B - shipped 4m+ WW. At the end of the day, worldwide, all that matters is shipments

:: Christina hasn't sold 25m WW. She's shifted over 30m albums worldwide

25 million is too low for Christina...

Didn't she sell 16 million albums in the U.S. and over 2 million in the U.K. (for studio albums)? That's 18 million right there. Plus about 6M in Europe...that's 24 right there.

Yeah, those are the exact sales in the U.S.

However, you should add more 935,000 copies to the debut album sales since that's what her album sold through the, now extinct, BMG music club. Take a look guys... this was posted in Pulse Music Board's Official Sales Thread =p.

31. BOYZ II MEN - COOLEYHIGHHARMONY (MOTOWN) (1.13 million units)
32. THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. - LIFE AFTER DEATH (BAD BOY) (1.12 million units)
33. CELINE DION - LET'S TALK ABOUT LOVE (550 MUSIC) (1.11 million units)
34. CELINE DION - ALL THE WAY... A DECADE OF SONG (550 MUSIC) (1.10 million units)
35. JANET JACKSON - JANET JACKSON'S RHYTHM NATION 1814 (A&M) (1.10 million units)
36. ACE OF BASE - THE SIGN (ARISTA) (1.08 million units)
37. BILLY RAY CYRUS - SOME GAVE ALL (MERCURY) (1.08 million units)
38. NATALIE COLE - UNFORGETTABLE (ELEKTRA) (1.03 million units)
39. MARIAH CAREY - #1's (SONY) (1.00 million units)
40. ALICIA KEYS - SONGS IN A MINOR (J) (995,000 units)

41. BACKSTREET BOYS - BLACK & BLUE (JIVE) (992,000 units)
42. RICKY MARTIN - RICKY MARTIN (SONY) (987,000 units)
43. CELINE DION - FALLING INTO YOU (550 MUSIC) (987,000 units)
44. SARAH MCLACHLAN - SURFACING (ARISTA) (985,000 units)
45. PUFF DADDY & THE FAMILY - NO WAY OUT (BAD BOY) (978,000 units)
46. TONI BRAXTON - TONI BRAXTON (LAFACE) (972,000 units)
47. SOUNDTRACK - TITANIC (SONY) (971,000 units)
48. CHRISTINA AGUILERA - CHRISTINA AGUILERA (RCA) (935,000 units)
49. TONI BRAXTON - SECRETS (LAFACE) (927,000 units)
50. MICHAEL JACKSON - THRILLER (EPIC) (923,000 units)

These sales were not counted by Soundscan so they're EXTRA copies ok? So, the final numbers for Christina Aguilera are around 9,145,000 and her total amount goes to 17 million in the U.S.

Everything is possible but without hearing the first single and the album I would still say she will definitely sell more albums than Shakira sold so far. The sales of KGB: ADOH are like She Wolf's sales. As the minimum I could see a Kelly Clarkson's "All I Ever Wnated" type of success for the new era.

I don't know! We don't have a release date yet. That's why I decided to post the positions of Lift Me Up here instead of creating a new thread. But no matter what, we're talking about 730k here anyway (according to worldwidealbums.net).

Let us hear the first single and reactions first!

But I really wish she would milk this era like a lot of her contemporaries:

-min. 4 or 5 singles
-new songs with a re-release
-new single(s) off the "Burlesque" soundtrack

And again, this is why I don't like people relying on Soundscan alone. In this, RIAA isn't even good. Her debut sold 935,000 + copies through BMG clubs alone. That's not accounted for in Soundscan and RIAA hasn't been updated. That's not including sales through Columbia House.
I was waiting for Bey to drop so she could show that T&A arent the only ones smashing album SALES!!!

The worldwide sales of her first two albums alone are over 25 million, so this definitely isn't correct. If her sales are broken down she's atleast sold 31 million albums between 3 studio albums, a greatest hits, spanish album and Christmas cd.

Her 1st album could possibly be eligible to the Diamond certifications: 9,150,000 copies sold with Soundscan and BMG. Columbia sales are unknown but it may have sold almost as much as in the BMG club or even more...

Even if the album was not available on Columbia House, that doesn't mean that 10,000,000 copies of "Christina Aguilera" have been shipped. I would bet that this album is probably eligible for a diamond certification. If not, justice will be served with the appropriate 9x platinum cert.
