Considering how the era went I say he should be pleased with the results. At least it didn't turn out to be his lowest-selling album. I hope they certify it soon.

I hope X will end up better, but considering the only OK-ish reception of Fine China (peaked lower than Turn up the Music) and the mess with the cancelled Don't Think They Know release, I'm not sure WHAT will happen.

Two years later, still not certified with the RIAA.

RCA is the label. They only certified 4 albums total with the RIAA in 2014. They've certified 4 albums so far in 2015. 3 have been Catalog titles so maybe this will get certified?

@chrisbrown Your album "Fortune" has sold over 500,000 copies in the USA. Ask @RCARecords to certify it #Gold with the #RIAA. Fans, RT
