We forgot to mention that Bleed like Me (album) was certified Silver by the BPI in the UK this past July

Does anyone know what the final numbers were?
I know the album and some songs received a lot of attention because of the video game.

I remember seeing Not Your Kind of People's soundscan sales at about 89,000 copies the week after they performed on Letterman in March 2013. It was some leaked sales for the alternative or independent chart. As that was 2 years ago and they toured for a while after that i think by the time the new album is released it should almost certainly be over 100,000 in the us which is great given the exposure and lack of radio support etc.

The remastered 20th anniversary edition of the debut album is out this week, be interesting to see where it will chart. Would be great to see it in the UK top 100 and somewhere On the Billboard 200, or at least the top 100 sales.

NEW RELEASES: A NICK, DRAKE WEEK

No new release will challenge Drake next week as he remains the favorite to top our Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) chart for a stunning seventh consecutive week. Things get a bit fuzzier on our sales chart as we head into Sunday’s Tony Awards. With no debut entry expected to sell over 50k next week, we’re keeping a close eye on Hamilton as a likely contender for #1.

Nick Jonas (Safehouse/Island) 52-57k SPS, 42-47k album
Jon Bellion (Capitol) 35-40k, 30-35k
Garbage (Vagrant) 18-20k, 17-19k
Paul McCartney (Hear Music) 16-18k, 15-17k
Band of Horses (Interscope) 11-13k, 10-12
Now Country (NOW) 11-13k

The Strange Little Birds prediction has gone up a little bit, according to hits its inline for a possible number 13 debut, that'd be 4 abums to hit 13 for them. Its in line for similar 1st/2nd week sales of not Your Kind of People, which was iTunes exclusive for a week and moved up to 13 on 22,000 copies the following week.

UK chart
Spanning their eponymous 1995 debut and 2012's Not Your Kind Of People, all five prior studio albums by Garbage made the Top 10. Sixth album Strange Little Birds falls short, debuting at No.17 (5,293 sales).

Might end up being their first album to chart higher in the US than in the UK.

yesssss, it's honestly unreal they are still debuting in top 20.
Haven't they gone full indie status?

long live Garbage, though I have deleted most of Not Your Kind of People :x Just could not get into that weird ambient sound.
Version 2.0 shall remain my bible for the eternity.
