^No Strings attached sold some 1.54M copies via BMG alone in less than one year (they were not available on Columbia House as far as i know) and it was last certified 11M in '01, so it's missing some 2xP in certs maybe even more.

^And Adele's 21 is about 310k away from NSA. If Adele has a new album out this year, she could pass them by the end of 2014 or early 2015.

Given its current rate of sale, I wouldn't be surprised if The Marshall Mathers LP also surpasses NSA by the end of 2015/early 2016.

Yes, I expected 15k as the album did very well at Amazon.com. It was inside the top 20 that entire week, well it shows us how the market is right now.

The new compilation is amazing, I would buy it over their first two compilations as it includes all their hit singles, and the remix version of "I Drive Myself Crazy" with JC doing the lead. It also has "Selfish" which was the Celebrity single waiting to happen. 8-) 8-)

Billboard 200 Chart Moves: Shawn Mendes and the Great EP Comeback
By Keith Caulfield | August 08, 2014 8:58 PM EDT
http://www.billboard.com/biz/articles/n ... e-great-ep

-- 'N Sync, The Essential 'N Sync - No. 25 - The pop group tallies the fourth top 25-charting album for Sony Legacy's Essential series, following Bruce Springsteen (No. 14, 2003), Barbra Streisand (No. 15, 2002) and Billy Joel (No. 15, 2013). The Essential 'N Sync sold 10,000 copies in the week ending Aug. 3. The Essential-branded greatest hits series launched in 2001 and has released more than 100 titles. Sony Music says it is their most successful product line, and it has sold 22 million in the U.S., according to SoundScan. The Essential albums often enhance an artist's existing catalog of product, which usually already includes a previously-released greatest hits collection. 'N Sync's 34-track Essential title, for example, follows the group's 12-song Greatest Hits, released in 2005.
