So - 13 songs got votes, 4 are safe with 1 vote, 3 safe on 2 votes, and we lose one of the 4 on 3 votes and both the ones on 4 votes.

First out, we lose another of the big hits from the Sweet. The wonderful "Teenage Rampage" is out. However, if you ask me, of the Sweet songs in the list, it was probably the weakest (aside from a couple of randoms that missed the entire top 120!) It's had 10 votes in the last 4 rounds, so it's been hanging on for dear life for a bit!

Next up - I think we're long overdue losing some Bowie. I mean, he's got five tracks remaining on the list! The first of those five to get the boot is the one flop to make it into the top 30 of this survivor. Yes, somehow or other, "Diamond Dogs" rather limped into the UK chart at No. 21. Also surprisingly, it's managed to almost beat that peak on this glam countdown! Personally, I'm not sorry to lose this particular piece of Bowie given HOW tough the survivor is going to get!

Finally, we lose another Bowie track, and if you ask me, much more of a classic of his back catalogue - however this one he never released as a single. The song in question is of course the Bowie-penned "All The Young Dudes". Ian Hunter, Verden Allen and Mick Ralphs joined Pete Overend Watts - who went to school with my dad, and Dale Griffin - who was in my dad's class at school - to form Mott The Hoople, and their version of "All The Young Dudes" is both their most successful song and the defining version of this Bowie song. I'm glad it went top 40 as it's an ace song!

Sorry this round's a bit early, but I'm in need of an early night, and I'm sure everyone who's going to vote probably has. Anyway, 20 songs make it through to the next round, 11 with 0 votes, 2 with 1 vote, 6 with 2 votes and one that lost a tiebreak on 3 votes. We lose 1 with 3 votes, 1 with 4 votes and 1 with 6 votes.

So - first out it's a song that frankly has way overstayed its welcome if you ask me - however fun it is. You could make an argument for early 70s classic "Spirit In The Sky" having a certain amount of glam in it. However, the people that truly made it a glam song were 80s band Doctor and the Medics. It's done well to get this far, but alas it is now out. Suffice to say Gareth Gates' version with the Kumars didn't make this list!

Queen were stuck essentially with one big hit and two early tracks that might not be that memorable for casual listeners. Therefore, however great they are as a band, I'm not surprised to see "Now I'm Here" followed swiftly out by "Seven Seas of Rhye". A couple of my good friends from North East England formed a Queen tribute band a fair few years ago - its name? Well, "Seven Seas Of Whey Aye" of course!

So - we lost our last remaining 80s entry this round, and now it's time to lose our last remaining 90s entry, and the signature tune arguably of a wonderful Britpop band! Yes, I still can't really decide how badly out of place Suede have seemed here, but it's because of that I've not been THAT fussed that this wonderful band have seen their songs crash out before we reach the top 20. Anyway - the highest entry for them is the brilliant "Beautiful Ones"
