ALBUM TRACKS TOP 50, PT I50 FALL OUT BOY RAT A TAT
(ft. COURTNEY LOVE)
SAVE ROCK AND ROLLI'm about to make your sweat roll backwards, and your heart beat in reverse
49 EMINEM LEGACY
The first out of 3 album tracks from FOB's Save Rock and Roll, featuring the controversial Courtney Love. You wouldn't expect this collaboration to happen, but it actually turned out good. It was my favorite fromt he album after a few plays, but all the shouting gets a bit annoying after a while, still, it's a good song.
THE MARSHALL MATHERS LP 2I used to be the type of kid that would always think the sky is fallin', now I think the fact that I'm differently wired's awesome
48 FRANZ FERDINAND TREASON! ANIMALS.
First out of 4 Eminem tracks on the countdown. A really good, lyrically awesome song, with a catchy hook. Nothing new for Eminem here, but it really works. The girl's voice with this production has that haunting feel to it.
RIGHT THOUGHTS, RIGHT WORDS, RIGHT ACTIONhey friends, I need to hear voices, I don't care what you talk about!
47 JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE TRUE BLOOD
The only track from 'RT, RW, RA' to feature on this. Fresh Strawberries was also close to making it, but it didn't. It's just a really fun track that gets me in that happy, dancey mood. The best tracks from the album became singles so expected them in that countdown.
THE 20/20 EXPERIENCE 2But baby I just do it for the thrill out of you, it makes me say ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
46 NATALIA KILLS TELEVISION
The only track from both of Justin's 'Experience' albums. Don't Hold the Wall is the only other one I even considered, but found that one a bit too repetitive. It has that creepy Halloween feell to it and I just love it. It's a bit overproduced and no need to mention that I would love it much more if it was 4 minutes shorter, but it is what it is. Hoping this becomes a single since I think the video for this could be epic.
TROUBLEyour business, go mind it, cause this ain't f**king Jerry Springer
45 JAY-Z BBC
The first of 4 tracks from Kills. The opening track of Trouble is like 2 songs in 1, first the great intro and then the catchy pop track. Good lyrically, but a bit depressing, thought the production is the opposite. It just all works well together.
(ft. NAS, BEYONCE, PHARRELL, TIMBALAND & JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE)
MAGNA CARTA... HOLY GRAILBally shoes, Gucci sneakers, Pharrell's a pharaoh, peep the features
44 MILEY CYRUS SOMEONE ELSE
The only Jay-Z track from the underwhelming 'Magna Carta... Holy Grail' and probably my favorite track on the album. Nas really shines on this and he absolutely killed it. Beyonce's random korean speech is also one of the highlights. It's actually a shame that Jay is even featured on this one as I feel it would be better without him. The production reminds me of Thicke's Blurred Lines, but that's probably due to the Pharrell feature.
BANGERZI'm hurting myself, I've turned into someone else
43 STROMAE AVF
The only BANGER on the countdown. Miley delivered a pretty crappy album with a coupl eof good singles and this, the only other stand out. It has the typical Mike Will production, but it works better than the rest of the album. The pre-chorus is the best thing on this!
(ft. MAITRE GIMS & ORELSAN)
RACINE CARREEsomething in French
42 LADY GAGA G.U.Y.
Stromae has 3 tracks on this countdown and this is the first. It features 2 artists I have never heard of before, I have no idea what the lyrics are about, but it just all really works, really love this one!
ARTPOPNEEEIIN ZEDD, NEINN ZEDD, NEIINN ZEDDD
41 AVICII HEART UPON MY SLEEVE
Leading the 5 'ARTPOP' tracks on the countdown is G.U.Y. After first hearing the 10 second snippet, I was sure this is going to be the most brilliant thing Gaga made, but the full version kinda disapointed. The lyrics are far too awkward and it gets a bit repetitive. The last 20 seconds are my favorite, the shouting there really works.
TRUEtn tn tn tn tnnntn tn tn tnnnn tn tn tn chch tnn tn tn tn chch
First out of 3 'TRUE' tracks on the countdown is the onl instrumental track on the album. I feel like this would be my favorite track if some vocals were on it, but this way it works pretty good too. This is also the only instrumental track on this countdown
