It's almost that time of the year again! :D Been preparing my charts during the whole year and I still am.
This has been one of my favorite years for music so I'm more than excited to do this. There'll be an album, album track, singles and artist countdown all in one, no point in making 4 different threads.

The albums pictured above aren't neccesarilly my favorites, but just the ones that marked my year. The genre range is as wide as possible, at least for me - there'll be a few rock acts, a few R&B acts, and even more hip-hop,dance and pop ones, I'm pretty sure there's at least something for every one of you.

Not going to post the previous top 10s or things like that since I think that my taste has changed a lot during this year and that wouldn't be representative of my current taste (same thing with my all-time countdown, but I'm gonna finish it anyways).

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it and in the meantime you can vote in the poll and comment on what you expect to see charting ;)

Cheers! :D

I'm almost positive "Can't Hold Us" will be #1, but I selected "Applause" to be one of the other four to join Macklemore & Ryan Lewis in the Top 5.

I'll be following this! 8-)

Thanks guys! CHU was a too obvious choice for the poll and it would get all the votes so I didn't go with it

Thanks for the comments guys, the Album tracks countdown will probably begin this week, not sure if I should wait for a few more albums to come out though...

^ Like One Direction's Midnight Memories  ?

Also think that Macklemore's Can't Hold Us will be #1. I hope that Papoutai will be high.

ALBUM TRACKS TOP 50, PT I

50
Image FALL OUT BOY
Image RAT A TAT (ft. COURTNEY LOVE)
Image SAVE ROCK AND ROLL

I'm about to make your sweat roll backwards, and your heart beat in reverse
The first out of 3 album tracks from FOB's Save Rock and Roll, featuring the controversial Courtney Love. You wouldn't expect this collaboration to happen, but it actually turned out good. It was my favorite fromt he album after a few plays, but all the shouting gets a bit annoying after a while, still, it's a good song.
49
Image EMINEM
Image LEGACY
Image THE MARSHALL MATHERS LP 2

I used to be the type of kid that would always think the sky is fallin', now I think the fact that I'm differently wired's awesome
First out of 4 Eminem tracks on the countdown. A really good, lyrically awesome song, with a catchy hook. Nothing new for Eminem here, but it really works. The girl's voice with this production has that haunting feel to it.
48
Image FRANZ FERDINAND
Image TREASON! ANIMALS.
Image RIGHT THOUGHTS, RIGHT WORDS, RIGHT ACTION

hey friends, I need to hear voices, I don't care what you talk about!
The only track from 'RT, RW, RA' to feature on this. Fresh Strawberries was also close to making it, but it didn't. It's just a really fun track that gets me in that happy, dancey mood. The best tracks from the album became singles so expected them in that countdown.
47
Image JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE
Image TRUE BLOOD
Image THE 20/20 EXPERIENCE 2

But baby I just do it for the thrill out of you, it makes me say ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
The only track from both of Justin's 'Experience' albums. Don't Hold the Wall is the only other one I even considered, but found that one a bit too repetitive. It has that creepy Halloween feell to it and I just love it. It's a bit overproduced and no need to mention that I would love it much more if it was 4 minutes shorter, but it is what it is. Hoping this becomes a single since I think the video for this could be epic.
46
Image NATALIA KILLS
Image TELEVISION
Image TROUBLE

your business, go mind it, cause this ain't f**king Jerry Springer
The first of 4 tracks from Kills. The opening track of Trouble is like 2 songs in 1, first the great intro and then the catchy pop track. Good lyrically, but a bit depressing, thought the production is the opposite. It just all works well together.
45
Image JAY-Z
Image BBC (ft. NAS, BEYONCE, PHARRELL, TIMBALAND & JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE)
Image MAGNA CARTA... HOLY GRAIL

Bally shoes, Gucci sneakers, Pharrell's a pharaoh, peep the features
The only Jay-Z track from the underwhelming 'Magna Carta... Holy Grail' and probably my favorite track on the album. Nas really shines on this and he absolutely killed it. Beyonce's random korean speech is also one of the highlights. It's actually a shame that Jay is even featured on this one as I feel it would be better without him. The production reminds me of Thicke's Blurred Lines, but that's probably due to the Pharrell feature.
44
Image MILEY CYRUS
Image SOMEONE ELSE
Image BANGERZ

I'm hurting myself, I've turned into someone else
The only BANGER on the countdown. Miley delivered a pretty crappy album with a coupl eof good singles and this, the only other stand out. It has the typical Mike Will production, but it works better than the rest of the album. The pre-chorus is the best thing on this!
43
Image STROMAE
Image AVF (ft. MAITRE GIMS & ORELSAN)
Image RACINE CARREE

something in French
Stromae has 3 tracks on this countdown and this is the first. It features 2 artists I have never heard of before, I have no idea what the lyrics are about, but it just all really works, really love this one!
42
Image LADY GAGA
Image G.U.Y.
Image ARTPOP

NEEEIIN ZEDD, NEINN ZEDD, NEIINN ZEDDD
Leading the 5 'ARTPOP' tracks on the countdown is G.U.Y. After first hearing the 10 second snippet, I was sure this is going to be the most brilliant thing Gaga made, but the full version kinda disapointed. The lyrics are far too awkward and it gets a bit repetitive. The last 20 seconds are my favorite, the shouting there really works.
41
Image AVICII
Image HEART UPON MY SLEEVE
Image TRUE

tn tn tn tn tnnntn tn tn tnnnn tn tn tn chch tnn tn tn tn chch
First out of 3 'TRUE' tracks on the countdown is the onl instrumental track on the album. I feel like this would be my favorite track if some vocals were on it, but this way it works pretty good too. This is also the only instrumental track on this countdown

I only know "Someone Else" and "G.U.Y." from this batch. The former's probably my favourite non-single too and the latter's got a killer chorus. Both are highlights from solid pop releases.
