I think this is a tambourine yes, there are actual cricket sounds made my Exuma himself (I assume) on the album. :lol:

Goldfrapp and Larkin are among my top favourite artists, glad you like Larkin's sound, the album this song comes from "Parplar" is one of my most played, so dark and compelling. 8-) Thanks for listening buddy.

Yes I see that too, plus it's hard to imagine something like this being anywhere near the chart nowadays let alone a number 1! :o :lol: The 60's were great.
