And after 5+ months I did it! 788 albums checked, some of them completely, others skipped once I knew I wouldnt dig them, and many songs that were released without an album, but I just can't count them.
And now, among all the chosen ones, I'll try to come up with the best Top 10 per genre. But that will be presented in my Deconstructing Leo Version 2.0 thread. Hope to see you there soon!
Welcome! I'll start posting here the highlights of what I am listening for my 2017 Awards. Those will be posted in my Deconstructing Leo 2.0 thread early next year, once I finish checking all I want to check. But in the meantime I'll be presenting here some cool albums that I am finding.
I'll present albums by release date, and my awards go from October 1st 2016 until Sep 30th 2017.

Green Day - Revolution Radio
Revolution Radio is the twelfth studio album by American punk rock band Green Day. It is Green Day's first album since 21st Century Breakdown (2009) to be recorded as a trio after Jason White returned to being a touring member in 2016. Work began in 2014, following the 99 Revolutions Tour in support of ¡Uno! ¡Dos! and ¡Tré! (2012). After stating that the trilogy of albums had "absolutely no direction to them" and attempted to be "prolific for the sake of it," lead singer and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong claims that the record is "not so much a makeover as a make under."
