Thanks for commenting! Cry may still make an appearanceJSparksFan wrote:"Roses" isn't bad, but "Cry" is by far the best new song we got from her this year. It's probably my third favourite from her after "Love Again" and "Run Away with Me".
"L'étoile" is definitely the catchiest song on Encore un soir. It's fantastic!
I really liked the album after the first couple of listens but once the hype wore off I realised the album was pretty disappointing compared to Native.Tansike wrote:Some great tunes you've revealed now!
"Born" is definitely a great song but i'm a bit surprised that this may be your favorite song of the album. There are several tracks that i prefer ("Future Looks Good", "Let's Hurt Tonight", "Choke", the title track). But i guess you weren't the biggest fan of the album overall, did you?
Nice to see "Roses". Should have been a single & a hit for her. Can't believe she went from having one of the best selling songs of all time with a generic (but still good) tune to someone who's flopping despite releasing pop music at its best
"L'étoile" is great, also one of my faves on "Encore un soir".
Same for "Influence", but i think the rap is not as good as i was hoping for. Still think this could do well as an official single.
Thank you very much! You should check them out, I've put the links with themGrybop wrote:I'm afraid I hardly know any of the songs, but I love your presentation, very stylish!
Glad you like some!Erotica wrote:Getting warmer and Cry are really good
I know, I did think that but I've been listening to Getting Warmer for ages, I kind of got bored of it.MrRager wrote:YAS! I knew your chart would be awesome!
Getting Warmer is too low though! (So is Cry)
Born is possiby my favourite on OneRepublics album! brilliant!
YES for Allie X Making it!
Thinking Bout You
I'm not sure which I prefer, it's too hard to decide!thankfulforkelly wrote:Thinking About You is amazing! It took me awhile to get into, but I'd say now its my favourite from DW. I see the Why Try comparisons, but I think TAY is superior.
Cry is great! I prefer Roses though.
Imaginary Friend is nice, but like lots on Lady Wood I find it a bit forgettable. It's decent though.
Glad you agree!JSparksFan wrote:Yay at "Cry"! I agree, the production is ace, and her voice fits so well with it. Plus, the lyrics....
I love her!MrRager wrote:OMG I've spotted "That Poppy's" pic on the first page!! YESS!!!
I don't really remember The Weeknd song. I listened to the album and Love to Lay and Starboy stuck out the most. but i've only heard it once and it sounded pretty good as a whole!
I still haven't checked out Tove Lo's album! Influence is awesome though.
Footprints is amazing. BY FAR her best song since 1000 Forms era.
Glad you agree! I hope she sticks to that style for atleast one song every album.Tansike wrote:"Thinking Bout You" is great and definitely one of the highlights of "Dangerous Woman". Love that style
"Cry" is amazing, but i think it's behind "Roses" for me.
Didn't expect to see "Imaginary Friend" here, but its chorus is really, really good, and i still have it in my head every now and then, so that's a good thing.
Shocked at "Footprints" as it's my least fave on "This Is Acting" together with "Reaper" But it's still solid though.
Kinda surprised at "Reminder" being your favorite album track on "Starboy" as it's just solid for me. Everything else on the first half alone is better (from "Starboy" to "Sidewalks"). But to be fair there's no weak track on the album...
