Ariana Grande-Butera (born June 26, 1993), known professionally as Ariana Grande, is an American singer and actress.
Loved the more sultry approach she had this era, with this electronic-inspired track as easily the best. The gear changes between verse, bridge and chorus are great.

AlunaGeorge are an English electronic music duo from London, consisting of vocalist and songwriter Aluna Francis and producer and instrumentalist George Reid.
II wasn't sure at first and wrote it off as a Major Lazer copycat... but NO! It's bloody hypnotic and has such high replay value.

Dusky is an electronic music duo from London consisting of Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman.
Richard Kylea Cowie (born 19 January 1979), better known by his stage name Wiley, is an English rapper, songwriter, musician, record producer and DJ.
Such an authentic throwback to the hands-in-the-air rave of the early 90s, can't wait to see them live next month!

Sophie Michelle Ellis-Bextor (born 10 April 1979) is an English singer, songwriter and model.
I wish this disco number had been released in her peak as it's up their with her best work, the lyrical hooks are fantastic.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty (born February 20, 1988) is a Barbadian singer and songwriter.
Her team are idiots... this could have been a new signature song for her. Her voice has rarely sounded so strong and raw, and the smoky, soulful tone of the song makes it sound timeless.

Oliver Stanley "Olly" Murs (born 14 May 1984) is an English singer, songwriter, television presenter and actor.
I had completely gone off Olly after a few crap singles until this came along - a solid piece of moody pop with a cracking bridge. Such a shame he went backwards with the awful Grow Up.

Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986) is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor.
Infectious production, great shared vocal and a perfect summer soundtrack. Should've been #1!

Dua Lipa (born 22 August 1995) is an English singer, songwriter and model.
At first I found this a little underwhelming, then suddenly I realised that bridge is great and that chorus is brilliant, as is the move from the middle 8 to the final chorus - massive replay value all summer for me.

Marc Kinchen, known by his stage name MK, is an American DJ and music producer of house music.
Rebecca Claire "Becky" Hill (born 14 February 1994) is an English singer and songwriter from Bewdley, Worcestershire.
MK never lets us down on the big, piano, commercial house productions and Becky's power vocal makes this a tour-de-force of a dance track.

Valentin Brunel (born 17 December 1996), better known by his stage name Kungs, is a French DJ, record producer and musician.
Cookin' on 3 Burners are an Australian funk trio from Melbourne.
First heard this in the FSC... addicted from the first listen. This year's Prayer In C, total summer anthem, massive earworm, feel good etc. etc.

Any guesses on the top 2?

Into You making the top 20 :)

I'm In Control is great! I wasn't expecting to see it on any countdowns given its awful chart performance :o

The Sophie Ellis-Bextor one is quite good and the video is nice too. Love On the Brain and You Don't Know Love are also some of my favorites this year. I especially agree with your Olly comments: this was a nice (if short) return to form for him.

I think the same about Hotter Than Hell as it took quite a while for me to get hooked. It has great replay value as you mentioned. I wish she'd release something with more substance though; her voice is too unique for simple dance-pop.

The Kungs track is another favorite. It didn't do too well where I am but managed to put up some impressive numbers on my chart without the radio exposure.

Fifth Harmony is an American girl group formed on the second season of The X Factor US in July 2012.
Tyrone William Griffin Jr., known professionally as Ty Dolla Sign, is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer.
The most addictive song of the year for sure, from those initial bloops through to the shout-a-long bridge to the "work work work" chant. Just a fantastic example of R&B/pop done best.

Gorgon City are an English electronic music production duo consisting of two North London producers Kye "Foamo" Gibbon and Matt "RackNRuin" Robson-Scott.
Vaults are a British electronica band from London, United Kingdom, currently composed of Blythe Pepino, Barney Freeman, and Ben Vella.
For probably the first time, myself and Adam share the same #1! Gorgon City have been one of my favourite acts of the past four years and I always jump on whatever they put out, so All Four Walls was an instant delight and over time it has become one of my most-played songs of 2016. Hands-in-the-air anthem, great vocal, a delicious down-shift key change and massively radio friendly. I'm sad this didn't blow up in the way it should've done!
