3. Sinead Quinn - I Can't Break Down

Image

And making it into the top 3 in bronze medal position is 2nd place Fame Academy graduate Sinead Quinn, beating second runner up Alastair by just a little bit! This was by far her better single and gave her a No.2 hit. Seeing her live was also an opportunity for me to love her some more, and made me buy her amazing album. If only she was still here!

So who's No.1 - Stacie or Lisa?

Woooooo, not a song I was fanatical about, but a cool enough little tune anyway that I completely forgot about 'til just now! Shame the lass had to disappear really...

And Lisa willlll be number one, if she ain't, well... I dunno, you decide

2. Stacie Orrico - Stuck

Image

Well, she didn't quite make it to No.1, but one of my favourite artists of the year makes it to the runner up spot with her lead off single from her latest album. I can't think of many people in the musical world that inspire me as much as Stacie, and while this song was out, I got the album in the States and appreciated that so much. This is easily one of her best songs, and is only beaten by a single song this year.

This one:

1. Lisa Scott-Lee - Too Far Gone

Well, the majority of you got it right, and Lisa is fimrly at the top of my chart, beating her debut single "Lately" From the first time I heard this, I was in love with the "ohh ohhhh" and everything about it was perfect including a cool video (even if not at a lot happened!) and some cool clothes  Ladies and Gents, my favourite tune of 2003 :D Thanks for following :)

Meh

At least I was right in my prediction, but this one isn't a result I'm all that happy with.

Hey - can I just ask a question here... am I right that this is the last of the "Top ____ of 2003" charts to be finished? 8-) Woooo

OK, so I guessed incorrectly about 'Lately' being your fave, Adam, but 'Too Far Gone' is still a fab track, IMHO, and it's good to see that it gets recognition from someone. :D

I thought that Lately was a far stronger track, but it's still Lisa. 8-)

Both tunes in the top 2 I liked, oviously not as much as you though (LSL was 121 and Stacie was 30 in my chart of 2003)

Great chart Adam, I enjoyed following it :)
