Arcade Fire are a Canadian indie rock band.
I'd never paid a lot of attention to them before but I couldn't ignore this almost shimmering disco track - so catchy!

Zak Zilesnick better known as Zak Abel is an English singer/songwriter and musician.
I'm going to see Zak live in March, he's an underrated vocalist and this album was full of non-generic trop/pop hits.

Jessie Ware's 'Midnight' and Lorde's 'Green Light' are nice. I also really like that Arcade Fire track.

'Green Light' is a pop stomper and JONES released the kind of track I'd like to see Jessie Ware revisit.

Will Joseph Cook - Treat me like a lover

Fantastic song! I'm looking forward to how he develops from this.

Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, known professionally as Katy Perry, is an American singer and songwriter.
Easily the best thing to come from Witness: Duke Dumont produced, one of Nicki's finest pop moments and a low-key hit.

Dan Griffith, known by his stage name Gryffin, is an American DJ, record producer and musician.
What a gorgeous vocal from Sinead and production from Gryffin, one of the finest dance music moments of the year.

Margaret LeAnn Rimes Cibrian is an American singer, songwriter, actress and author.
Perfect example of taking an OK pop song and giving it a camp as tits remix to make it brilliant - used to be all the rage in the 90s!

Mixed for me... I'll check out gayed up LeAnn later.

Green Light obviously superb, Swish Swish for me is poor and the worst thing she's flogged this era, Everything Now isn't Arcade Fires very best, you should def check out Ready To Start, I'd be surprised if you'd not heard it. I think there's a good one called Keep The Car Running too. Everything Now is ace though. Great live if you get the chance.

I heard Zak album. But can't recall individual tracks it kind of washed over me.

Mabel McVey, mononymously known by her stage name Mabel, is a Spanish-born Swedish singer and songwriter based in London.
Neneh's daughter did a good job of repping the UK urban scene last year and this was her crowning glory - so classy and chill.

Portugal. The Man is an American rock band from Wasilla, Alaska currently residing in Portland, Oregon.
Weirdly this is only properly taking off now despite me discovering it last spring! Catchy, funky, quirky throwback tune.

Declan Benedict McKenna is an English singer, songwriter and musician.
He's only 19 but Declan is crazy talented: mature lyrics and vocal beyond his years and this is a fab indie/pop anthem.

Kat Graham - Sometimes
BETSY - Little White Lies
Lorde - Green Light
Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still

Didn't know a lot here but considering your FSC entries, I'm sure I'd like a lot of the tracks I don't know, will have to check them when I find some time

"Green Light" has an epic chorus. It was a big shift in sound for Lorde, but she retained all her high quality. "Swish Swish" is good, but doesn't have a patch on "Roulette" for me.

"Feel It Still" is a huge bop! Nice to see that a more eclectic-sounding song can still take off in the US.
Franklin’s music profoundly touched and changed the world, because over and over it offered that bridge to salvation, to freedom.

I really wanted to like Declan McKenna and I get his appeal, but there are some more talented young singer-songwriters out there

By Declan? His next best are Why Do You Feel So Down? and Humongous.

I think your taste has become a lot more varied.
I don't know how but I still don't think I've heard Feel It Still
I like Finders Keepers but... just the chorus?

Swish Swish - as I've been saying before, didn't age well, but that beat is great

Declan McKenna is really interesting and I have to check him out further
