#10 Kirkis - Miracle
Country: Australia
Genre: No Wave, Darkwave, Synthpop

A grand and in a way, exciting music video for a dark synth song that is nonetheless effortlessly catchy.
P.S. Maybe it's too late to ask for a miracle when you're in a coffin?
P.P.S. On a personal note, I seem to relate to this line a bit
I need a miracle
Tell me why I am so miserable

#9 Edona Vatoci - Mirëmëngjes
Country: Kosovo
Genre: Pop, Indie Pop, Electronic

Edona created a sophisticated musical landscape in this small space. This sound obviously draws inspiration from Bjork's work, but tries to make it accessible.

#8 IIRIS - Stranger
Country: Estonia
Genre: Pop

I just like this, her quirky voice makes this pop song absolutely work. She has already experimented in various genres:
2012: IIRIS - Melyse - electropop/electroclash
2013: IIRIS - Tigerhead - trendy electropop with some K-Pop influences
2015: IIRIS - Iridiscent Love - dreamy electronic pop
2016: IIRIS - Hope - pop music with some slight R&B influences, my #50 of 2016

#7 Jeans for Jesus - Wosch no chli blibä
Country: Switzerland
Genre: Indie Pop, Synthpop

Jeans for Jesus find a wonderfully sophisticated twist just for that. For two years, they worked on the concept for this song. The result is a track full of questions to an unknown guest - an actually oppressive interrogation is presented as an intimate conversation.

#6 The Hardkiss - Антарктида
Country: Ukraine
Genre: Alternative Rock, Electronic

One of the most successful ukrainian alternative bands of the recent years managed to outdo themselves this time. A very stylish alternative rock song, which is a bit heavier than other The Hardkiss' songs. The music video is a cinematic experience of significant proportions as well.

                  8. Alex Cameron - Forced Witness
                  Country: Australia
                  Genre: Indie Rock, Indie Pop
Alex Cameron - Runnin' Outta Luck
Alex Cameron - Stranger's Kiss (Duet with Angel Olsen)
Alex Cameron - Politics of Love
No wonder this is so catchy. Brandon Flowers' even did the backing vocals let alone some songwriting.

                    Album chart Top 50
                    6-5

                    6 Thåström - Centralmassivet
                    Country: Sweden
                    Genre: Post-Punk Revival, Singer-Songwriter
                    Thåström - Körkarlen
                    Thåström - Bluesen i Malmö
This album has both moments of grandeur and some throwback vibes. "Old Point Bar'' is one great song.

                    5 Kirin J Callinan - Bravado
                    Country: Australia
Genre: EDM, Post-Punk Revival, Alternative, Pop
                    Kirin J Callinan - Bravado
                    Kirin J Callinan - S. A. D.
This album is a mish-mash of kaleidoscopic ideas. Most of them are awful, just like Kirin's uber-masculine persona, but he attempts to redeem himself throughout the album. At least Kirin's efforts were rewarded with a ''big enough'' meme at the end of the day.
