Of the two songs I have heard, the production is definitely not as good/complex/ooomphy/sparkly as the Mutt produced songs, but that is to be expected, as Mutt is a God-legend level producer. But her melodies and witty lyrics are still there. If i squint and imagine I am just listening to her songs on a tinny transister radio or at a low level 96hz ripped recording, then I can imagine it as 90's Shania. Anyway, I am so glad she worked her beautiful behind off and came back as brilliant looking and sounding as she has. Her comeback could have been the biggest flopfest/embarrassment of all time if she came back with rubbish songs, as that would have proved to everyone that she was just a puppet/doll of Mutt. Instead, she has shown she is a stand-alone star who can make her own quality music. Yes, she can probably achieve better songs if she teams up with certain producers, but that is the same for any singer/songwriter artist. Can't wait to get her full album!
