She lost her voice due to her suffering from Lyme disease.
Here she explains the ordeal she went thru in order to get it back and what she still has to do everytime she performs and wanna make sure her voice is there.

That's because Shania's "old voice" is gone (because of Lyme's disease) and she had to learn to sing (and talk) again and can't even sing impromptu again. There are better explanations a few pages back. This is a *new Shania* in multiple ways.

I'm terribly sorry for the things she had to gone through.
As a person and as singer it Must have so saddening for her to deal with it.
Thank god she's here with us again.
Been reading UkMix everyday for well more than a decade now, and Here I am posting :)

I like the song, but if you slow it down on YouTube to 0.25 at the end where the instrumental fades, you can tell how robotized her voice sounds. Y2K Britney teas. :cry:
