Wow, this is one mad guitar solo, past the 2:50 mark.

I hope EMI Nashville does their little bit to promote this one.

^^
Haven't heard the radio edit, yet.
They probably will cut out/trim the guitar solos and instrumental bridges, there's no pedal steel or banjo to level down so maybe they can overdub the drums.

This was compressed and butchered in the radio version, too:

I hope there's not going to be any trap beats

Don't jinx it!

Radio doesn't really like them but they have quite a cult-following, street credibility and remarkable sales for a still pretty unknown act. One of the few acts on a major label that get good reviews from hipsters and critics.

EMI Nashville's radio track record is not really good. Still hope they manage to push this as far as possible.
They have quite a quality but difficult roster with Eric Church & Brothers Osborne doing what they want and giving a F, Alan Jackson & Gary Allan no longer able to break the Top 50 or even chart; and Eric Paslay disastrously flopping. Brandon Lay is a new addition and since he signed with EMI his sound got VERY modern...
