Go Taylor - I would much rather see this storm to number one than even Kelly - and I do heart Kelly.

Must be the biggest country hit in the UK in ages (not gonna count Kid Rock)! Is she this generation's Shania?

I definitely think she is this generation's Shania! I wouldn't really consider this "country" though. I mean to some degree it is, but at the same time it's just a good ol' pop song.
So take me and break me and make me strong like you.I'll be forever grateful to this and you.

I think she has a high chance of getting number 1 her album as well.

At the same time, most of the stuff Shania released was more pop than country anyway. Even some of her biggest hits like That Don't Impress Me Much and Don't Be Stupid were remixed to suit European audiences.

Kelly is out the same week as her. She is the one who has more background history in the UK. Taylor will struggle. She *may* sell more singles, but it's a different story with albums.

The challenge is this week. Kelly and Taylor are both going to be out to download, and the question is who can get to No. 1

The week they're out physically, they have the Comic Relief single from the Saturdays to contend with as well! (but am I the only one thinking that is far from certain to top the chart?)

Can't see The Saturdays doing much.

Love Story is up to #2 on iTunes now.

No I actually doubt The Saturdays will be #1 now - Nessa & Bryn even have a better chance IMO, I think we'll be seeing The Saturdays at about #4 once Taylor and Kelly are also taken into account!

Fantastic result on iTunes so far! I can see it outselling Kings of Leon by lunchtime tomorrow at the latest!

I hope this gets #1.
Kelly for #2 (bittersweet)

As far as the Saturdays are concerned, I never thought they'd be a major contender for #1 - top 3 at the most.

You lot doubt the power if the comic relief single. The amount of promo it will get this week and next it will be pretty much certain for number 1 for at least 1 week. But I do think Taylor swift will get it this week.

bravo, it's radio-friendly and if she managed to target POP radios she will now rule the larger audience, the better sales....huge year definitely

Well the past 9 Comic Relief singles have gone to #1 so that statistic does bode well for them however the download boom of the past 12-18 months shapes the chart very differently and although physicals can sell still very strongly for X Factor singles, recent charity singles have not always been so lucky so I'm still not convinced they have a chance of #1.

I can't get into this song yet. I think this MIGHT have to do with me being male and the lyrics being a bit TOO girly, I mean come on, I don't want to listen to a song that calls a romeo :D
Many miles many roads I have traveled
Fallen down on the way
Many hearts many years have unraveled
Leading up to today

I've been called gay too often in my life to actually care about that anymore, I don't know what it is, I think the song is nice, I just would have liked it to be a little bit more neutral

For not liking the original, I can't explain how come I just love this remix so much at the moment, but it is fit as hell!

I love this now - I wish it had a chance to be #1 at some stage but will probably be unlikely now since Kelly is heading for numero uno.

Is her album as good as this?
