FBAWTFT (Pentalogy) | The Crimes of Grindelwald

Postby Madelinefs » Sat Nov 19, 2016 4:45 pm

I've seen it yesterday and I was blown away. I'll watch it again in the following week. It started with a bang... :o Newt was absolutely adorable from the first scene ,Jacob <3 was way more than just a comedic relief as I was afraid he would be Queenie was such a sneaky badass and Tina was awkward but I liked her. I think Newt might autistic

This movie has so much more variety than any HP adaptation did. Some scenes were hilarious, I could really do without that mating dance thoBut overall this movie is really dark some moments were really scary. Even tho I like horror I jump a little in my seat and some children started crying, I'm pretty sure Credence is NOT dead.

I think he is. I think the fact Grindelwald wanted 'the child' was because he plans to use an Obscurus to suppress muggles. If Ariana Dumbledore was one, then that makes sense as to why Dumbledore and Grindelwald wanted to take Ariana on their travels, as mentioned in book 7 :o

Well.... Minutes after he got 'killed' there was a black mist flying in the air. Why would they show us this if it wasn't important? imo it was Credence sneaking out.

As for Grinderwald: I have no idea what he meant by saying: Will we die just a little? This line alone really got me :o

It's already confirmed that he 2nd movie will be very dark so I wonder where JK takes us :D

This was such a joy to watch! Truly magical and a solid film for all.

I've already grown to love all the characters even if I've still to learn their names and I'm thoroughly looking forward to see this pan out over the next 4 films.

I had absolutely no idea that Grindelwald would make an appearance in this film! I literally gasped with surprise when it happened! So exciting!!

So in the end, Voldemort isn't dead either because we also had only "black mist/smoke flying in the air"? :D

I think it's confirmed that Credence is not dead since he's confirmed for the 2nd movie.

The movie was amazing. The experience was still very Harry Potter in nature yet it gives you another perspective of the wizarding world. It's also the first time that there's a Hupplepuff in the lead since Cedric Diggory. It was a wonderful film and I don't mind the extension of this to a pentalogy but I reckon the few films won't be titled Fantastic Beasts anymore.

As has been said I quickly got attached to the main characters they're adorable together. I love Newts social awkwardness and Queenie was just so lovable. I think I'll enjoy this series.

Fantastic Beasts and the Phoenix of Gryffindor.

The one where Dumbledore finds Fawkes.

Perfect.
