Yeah Devil Wears Prada is my fave Streep film but let’s be honest, everything she has ever done has been flawless!

Devil Wears Prada easily. So sassy.

Honourable mentions to The Hours and Into The Woods.

In terms of acting, The Devil Wears Prada is actually one of her weakest films.

I couldn’t really imagine anyone else doing as good a job as Meryl did in that role though. But a Emily Blunt was definitely the highlight of the movie for me.

I’d argue that Meryl was the only one capable of pulling off the role of Miranda Priestly though. It takes a hell of a lot of acting to come across as cold, superior and disinterested as Meryl did, without turning it into a camp performance. Meryl is so understated and it works perfectly.

Plus I think it introduced her to a new generation of fans. She hadn’t really done much recently that had been for the teen/young woman market.

I think all 3 were perfectly cast. I read the book again recently and the film is far superior too (although the ending is much better).

I know she is like universally beloved, but I find her totally overrated and borderline annoying because she's in so many goddamn movies.

I also thought she was incredible in ‘The Iron Lady’.

I think Glenn Close is as good as Meryl Streep as an actress, she is way underrated though.

Glenn is amazing. Saw her on stage as Norma Desmond. Praying she makes the rumour movie.

Don’t think I’ve seen many of his films tbh. Even as I write this I can’t even think of the last movie he was in that I watched.

I don't know that I've ever seen a Matt Damon movie.

I'm such a bad movies person - like I've seen literally nothing compared to some people.

Good Will Hunting. He was good in The Martian too but I haven’t seen that many of his movies.

I'm a sucker for the Jason Bourne franchise, so that's probably my favourite collection of work by him overall.

Outside of those though, I really enjoyed The Talented Mr Ripley, Green Zone, and The Martian.

Oh and his feature in Will & Grace is probably my favourite celebrity guest feature on any sitcom ever!

I thought maybe I should watch The Talented Mr Ripley, but not so sure anymore, the original movie is a classic and can't imagine a remake is better
