OH! I've seen The Talented Mr Ripley.

As a closeted homo growing up, that movie was so hot to me. The scene where Jude Law stands up, getting out the bath was...

Not a huge fan but she was brilliant in To Die For. I also loved her in Lion.

The Others is my favourite.

It’s also one of my fave films off all time.

It's strange, I know Nicole Kidman is one of the most famous actresses in the world but I know so little of her work. I just had a look at her filmography on Wikipedia and (not counting her voice role in Happy Feet) I've only seen one of her films - Lion, which incidentally is an amazing film.

I know most people hate it, but I actually really enjoyed The Stepford Wives. Except for her weird black short hair in the beginning of the movie. Dreadful.

To Die For was, for me, her first outstanding performance.
In Malice she was great too but here she showed me that she was someone special.
Moulin Rouge is my fav movie from her, and The Hours was her best performance.
The Others is A+mazing. Her performance was superb.
The one in which she meets a boy claiming he is her late husband was also captivating

I can say she is my fav actress without a doubt. She can be the most fragile person and also the strongest one.

She is a brilliant actress, and Moulin Rogue I think is her best work, and I loved her in Australia too. What I love about her is how easy she makes your forget you’re watching ‘Nicole Kidman’ and how she has mainly gone down the independent movie route - she hardly ever makes a blockbuster despite being A-List.

I was fortunate enough to watch her on the west end 2 or 3 years ago in a play and even in person, she just falls into the character and makes you forget who she is.

Still odd she married Tom Cruise though

The Hours no doubt, the scene at the train station with her husband gets me everytime, also her last letter, I knew that was from Virginia Woolf but who cares  I also like her in The Killing of Sacred Deer and that Kubrick movie.

Had to wiki what movies he has been in.

Can't say any of their names ring a bell with me / can't picture him.

All I can think of is White Chicks.

Probably Philadelphia, albeit more so for Tom Hanks.

I do always enjoy Remember The Titans though.

Never really watched any of her starring vehicles, but All About Eve, which she is a supporting part as a dumb blonde rising actress party guest, is a fantastic movie. But Marilyn's only in that movie for about five minutes and is mostly forgotten in it compared to Bette Davis and Ann Baxter's roles as the movie centers on them.

AAE is one of my favourite movies, but Marilyn dazzles next to Bette Davis. Sure, Bette is perhaps the greatest actress of all time, but I thought Marilyn held her own next to her - even if it was just for 5 minutes.

Marilyn is one of my favourite actresses of all time, and 2 if her movies - Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Some Like It Hot are 2 of the best comedies of all time in my opinion... and my top 2 favourite movies.

I’m quite the Marilyn fan though. I’ve seen a number of exhibitions over the last few years, including a Hollywood costume exhibition that had the dress from The Seven Year Itch.

Yes, she was stereotyped and took/forced into roles that pidgeon holed her, but she was fighting back against it when she died. I mean, it doesn’t get more icon than this imo:
