:o :o

Looks amazing. And I’m glad Bryce Dallas Howard has exterminated her awful haircut from the first movie.

Do we need a sequel? IMO the sequels to the original film weren't particularly good especially Jurassic Park 3, but this looks great from the first trailer!!! So hope this great as Jurassic World was

Loved that little scene in the window!!

I didn’t mind the sequels that much. I feel like they get a lot of harsh criticism when it’s obvious they’re not gonna live up to the original.

Did JW need a sequel? Probably not, but if they’re gonna make a sequel I’m glad it’s of a film I enjoyed.

I can’t wait for this - when done right, there’s so much potential in these movies. I think the appeal is that we know we have the technology to create these parks and worlds (it’s just the DNA we’re missing I believe), mingled in with our human pleasure at seeing stuff go terribly wrong. We are a strange species

I saw the trailer but it just looked really similar to the first JW. I'll still watch it though as they're always fun.

Ehhhh. Still doesn't excite me. Haven't really watched a Jurassic, except for the first one. This doesn't change my mind :(.

Somehow I loved the first one but the others don't appeal to me, especially not these new ones, full of effects, explosions and whatever :/

Yeah it does look quite similar, the magic of the last one was that it was time for it to return and the excitement of returning there, but this won't have the same anticipation as it's quite soon since the last.

On the other hand, I can watch all four JP movies to date, no problem, and enjoy them all, I didn't really get why the second and third movies got so much stick.

Yeah, some of my friends have said the same. Apparently it's not set on the island enough. I'm seeing it on Monday. I do feel there's not as much buzz as there should be around this film.

I’ve just binged watched all 4 in 24 hours and caught a late night showing of this... it was okay. The first half was great and imo they could have made a film out of getting the dinosaurs off the island and to the new (but fake) one.

Clearly they have other plans and the second half I think is trying to setup the 3rd film, which I think will probsbly end this whole raptor storyline...which has suddenly gone all Planet of The Apes on us.

I just thought with a bit of padding out, that shot of them watching the brontosaurus die on the island (from the boat) would have been a good ending.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn’t go into it with high expectations though.

I agree they could’ve spent more time on the island, the shot with the Brontosaurus was harrowing and I was actually crying at that point. The non-island stuff held my interest quite well and good casting choices overall.

There were so many throwbacks to the original JP and some to Lost World that I actually found it a bit jarring, they weren’t subtle throwbacks whatsoever. They managed to mix the drama and humour perfectly though. I enjoyed all the new characters, although I’m surprised they didn’t kill off any “good guys” as they normally sacrifice at least one. I love the Blue storyline, but my MVP dinosaur was the little one that kept head butting everything.

Don’t get me wrong, I definitely enjoyed it.

I felt sorry for little headbuttasaurus. She reminded me of Sarah from The Land Before Time. Headbutts her way through a wall, through a fence and then we all laugh because she gets a little shell shocked from head butting a metal pipe. I’m surprised PETA isn’t up in arms for promoting cruelty

I enjoyed Blue’s storyline too actually, but I’m glad they haven’t gone full on Caesar with him.
