All good if you don't care. Should really give them a chance though. There are some great characters and story lines.

It just seems like a big franchise to invest into, lots of movies to watch etc.

No one voted for the snoozefest of Deathly Hallows Part 1 then? Apparently walking around the woods for two hours constitues a movie.

Yet DH - away from Hogwarts doing real wizarding - makes it my favourite book. DH1 does a great job of explaining and setting stuff up, and it takes us to a number of different places - Malfoy Manor, Godric’s Hollow etc. Dobby’s death was just as sad as in the books too.

DH1 is amazing. AMAZING. Really sets the mood. But they never should have separated the two parts. Or release them apart.

It worked in the books because of the intricate detail that is in them. It doesn’t quite transpose to being a film though. The last book is the best book though.

Admittedly I haven’t seen them all, but I do think generally they get better and better. I’ve seen it the end of phase 1, but can’t stand Stark so cant bring myself to start Iron Man 3 (I will though).

I actually haven’t seen any of Phase One. I’ve seen half of Phase 2 and all of Phase 3 (bar Ragnarok).
