Will it happen though? Hollywood wants to bury Franco to appease the SJW's

we went and saw it last weekend..... Godawful. The Room has its charms because of Wiseau's charisma and bizarre nature, but this one is Sestero's baby and this was a movie that made The Room look competent. Greg has zero leading man appeal (Tommy is great but is the supporting character this time) and this confirms he'd be no one without Wiseau.

That said... going to see Vol. 2 in June! Oscar justice for Tommy!!!

Same here.
Even if this was Wiseau's vehicle and not Sestero's: You can't repeat the strange magic that was The Room. You just can't. This one is bound to be just plain bad without the entertainment factor, so the only chance I'd watch this is as preparation in case Franco decides to do The Disaster Artist 2.

Saw the second part on Monday. Total hot mess. Tommy camps up every scene he's in but most of it was Greg and his porn calibre acting while Tommy is presumed dead until the last fifteen minutes.
