Guys I didn't mean to be offensive. I guess the comment was too much then. I'm coming from the Tumblr world irony.

When I comes down to it Disney want this movie to sell and there are a lot of racists out there, maybe they see this as the safer choice just us No well tanned white people.

It’s their $$$ so they can do what they like.

I thought the exact same of you! The US is a giant nation and there tons of skilled actors out there, so what's so difficult here?

Yes, that is obviously what big companies should do! Listen to racists and give them what they want. Such a good advice.

Disney should take the lead, just like most other big companies, and show the world that we are all equal and should be threated the same. You don't do blackface, not in 1990 and not in 2018. It's just wrong on soo many levels and there is no excuse.

But it would be offensive if Britney Spears one day decides to play an obese gay black man though

I'll be honest, people do Blackface over here but it's different, I am from New Zealand where we didn't have slaves, Australia did turn their indigenous into slaves but Blackface etc isn't really an issue.

Bottom line is these companies want as much back for their investments . . . is it right, no, but that's the world we live in, it's been this way for thousands of years.

This! My comment only came to my mind because of all those memes regarding Beyoncé on this matter. I don't even mean it. Just a reference to the memes.

But I do understand if people think it's a bit too far.

^ You thought you went too far, but there are people that still find it funny, so you probably did the right thing by posting it anyway.

I'm probably too stupid to understand that meme, but it sure is interesting how this particular woman is attacked for her skin colour, interesting and ironic.

Stop bringing her name up in every thread, it’s boring. From now on, I’m gonna be removing any off topic posts.

Why, did I touch a nerve? Am I being out of line for showing that just because a black person is successful that doesn't mean she's pretending to be white, negating all the hard work? And yet there are people here, fans of women with black heritage, that still find that amusing. Ironic.

I'm fine, thanks. But heed this as a warning to stop stanning and purposely bringing up Beyonce when it is unnecessary to do so. It derails the topic and is flame baiting because you know that everybody finds it annoying.

uh.....no, but clearly someone has with you.

I was meaning enough talking about someone who doesn’t even relate to this topic. She shouldn’t have been brought into this tbh.

How did this turn into something about Beyoncé?

Anyway, I hope this backlash makes Disney learn a lesson and not be so obviously in the wrong for the future...but at the same time I can see people boycotting the film cause of this :o

So bringing Beyoncé for the shade and giggles is ok but actually defending her in the very same thread is not. Ok.

There was no need for her to be brought up by anybody. The shade did not come first
