UKMIX Parade stays at number 4 and is followed by Tansike's My Charts, the most followed member chart of the week. Good job!
Phoenixx goes up, aiming to reclaim the crown one week, and another retro chart returns to the top10 at number 7.
Akini and heppolo, las week's number 1 and 2, loses a lot of steam this week, but both of them have been in the top 10 forever, and Akini was number 3 for three non-consecutive weeks, the most of any other personal chart.
Blondini returns to the top 10 and reaches its new peak position.

100. 149. 70. Battle of the Genres(leomedar)

This week we had 793 eligible threads (down 4.6%) with a total of 8.347 points (down 12.6%). This is the second less active week since I started this, a big fall comparing to last week's record breaking numbers. Probably summer in the north equals less activity here?

Mariah CArey becomes certified 4 times platinum as she rules for a seventh week.  The Random Thought Thread follows and Madonna improves in points and goes up 6-3.

Katy Perry :: The "Witness" era reclaims the throne in the Charts Chart and also goes up here (7-4) and is followed by this week's Hot Shot DEbut, the US Billboard of the week. All but 1 week, the HSD belonged to the BrainDamagell series, but everytime second weeks numbers plummet. This time,  US Billboard Charts (12/08/2017)  fell 5-117.

Kesha :: The "Rainbow" Era becomes Tansike's second ever Top10, and it is certified Silver. NExt we find Beyonce that once again couldn't hold on to previous week numbers and falls 2-7. At number 8 we find the new entry  Taylor Swift in the court and closing up the top 10 we have two artists reaching their respective peaks!  Whitney Houston  rockets 22-8 and Janet 38-10. Good news for Nippian93 and biscuits.

Apart from the already mentiones¿d, last weeks top10 that exited the elite group are:  Céline Dion  (8-11),  Lana Del Rey :: The "Lust For Life" Era  (4-12),  Fergie | Double Dutchess  (10-41) and  UKMIX Retro #2s 1994-1995 | Survivor (9-133).

59 new threads were created, 16 of them ranked inside the hot100. Interesting fact: 30 Day Song Challenge debuts at #27 and is so far Wayne's best placing!

This weeks #1s in the genre charts fared differently in the hot100:
TOP ARTIST:  Mariah Carey - #1
TOP CHARTS:  Katy Perry :: The "Witness" era  - #4
TOP GAME: UK #1 Singles of 1995 | Survivor - #15
TOP MISCELLANEOUS:  The Random Thought Thread - #2
TOP MUSIC:  Kesha | Rainbow - #13
TOP NEWS:  Taylor Swift in the court - #8
TOP PERSONAL CHARTS:  Forty Years Gone: 1977 Retro - #43
TOP TV AND MOVIES:  UK Big Brother 2017 - #50

Tansike keeps ruling as he is the member with most active threads (24) and also the one with most hot100 this week (5).
Benjamin, tdc2000 and Biebz have 4 hot100 each and it is also a very good feat.

Hope you enjoyed this week's charts and feel free to post!

I'll take 27th - hoping to do better next week, moving into the top 20!

3 topics inside the Hot 100 - is that a record for me?

Janet Jackson edging Celine out of the top 10 leaves me with a sour feeling.

a top 40 is a great achievement. You need around 40 points to qualify to that elite group and it is not that simple. BUt I believe the 30 day challenge seems quite interesting and has a potential of getting into the top20

These has been the number of hot100 per week for you:
1-2-1-2-2-0-3
so yes! best result so far for you.

on Celine's part: the thread is Silver certified and peaked twice at number 8. But Janet has a lot of fans here so I think it has a lot of potential to rise.Didnt know you had a thing with janet! interesing fatc: only 3 points separated them!

My Charts achieved the same number of points comparing to previous week. You had just little less replies but mor views.
In this quiet week, it was a great result and represented a 69-62 jump in the hot100

Apparently it is another quiet week. Still two full days ahead and probably there will be a slight increase of total points although not as much as previous weeks.

We should expect a strong debut by Top Answer Game, but will it be the Hot Shot Debut? Some survivors are getting a lot of attention but Goldmoney still leads.

5. NEW. 5.  US Billboard Charts (19/08/2017) (BrainDamageII) HOT SHOT DEBUT

Hope you enjoyed this week's charts and feel free to post!
Just found this, very interesting. Feel like I'm one of those artists that release a song every week.

If I didn't create new thread every week and just continued as Billboard Chart thread would I have certification yet :D

YOu would :D It would be GOLD already.

The good side of releasing different topics every week is that you are, by far, the member with most top 10s! You have 7 so far and biscuits/Tansike/theArmy follow with 2.

How much effort you must be putting into this... it's amazing!
Great idea, I'm wondering how come nobody had thought of doing something similar till now.

The FSCs are performing well, eh? I'd love to hit #1 someday

WEEK 8
Image

1. 1. 1.  Mariah Carey
2. 2. 2.  Madonna
3. 3. 2.  Beyoncé
4. 4. 4.  Whitney Houston
5. 10. 5.  Christina Aguilera
6. 6. 3.  Céline Dion
7. 30. 7.  P!nk
8. 8. 2.  Britney Spears
9. 14. 6.  Kylie
10. 5. 5.  Janet Jackson

Same top 4 as previous week, so surprises are in the bottom half.
First, Christina Aguilera reaches her peak, then Pink rockets to number 7 and then Kylie comes back although she enjoyed better times in the past.
Janet falls hard, but still inside the top10 not like Rihanna (7-15) or Brandy (9-13).

2. 1. 1.  Katy Perry :: The "Witness" era
3. 2. 2.  Kesha :: The "Rainbow" Era
4. 15. 4.  Luis Fonsi :: The "Despacito" Era
5. 8. 5.  Bruno Mars :: The ''24k Magic'' Era

9. 5. 5.  Dua Lipa :: The "Dua Lipa" Era
10. 4. 4.  Jennifer Lopez :: The "Por Primera Vez" era

The release of her new single pushed Pink's threads up, so no surprise The Beautiful Trauma Era becomes this week's number 1 here.
Katy and Kesha stay strong in the top 3 and Luis Fonsi, getting closer and closer to breaking one of Mariah Careys most treasured records, pushes back into the top 10 at an all-time peak for him.
Bruno and Celine also reaches new peaks this week, good! They are followed by Taylor and Britney that are back into the top 10.
Closing this week top10 we find Dua Lipa and JLo, both losing speed.

A bit of context around Celine's new peak...

She broke concert records in the UK - she's the highest grossing act for each venue she performed in this year, breaking all-time records in Birmingham and Scotland.

She charted her 17th #1 album in France - and it spent its third week at #1 last week (112 weeks at #1 in total on the French albums chart for Celine).

WEEK 8
Image

1. NEW. 1.  Top Answer Game 2017
2. 1. 1.  UK #1 Singles of 1995 | Survivor
3. 6. 3.  The Noughties | Survivor
4. 5. 4.  Billboard Songs of the Summer Survivor
5. 3. 3. Various - The All Time Greatest Movie Songs | Survivor
6. RE. 6.  Diva Alter-Egos | Survivor
7. 18. 7.  TLC | Album Survivor
8. 2. 2.  Girls Aloud Survivor
9. 4. 2. Singles Cup - 2005 Edition
10. 11. 7. Battle of the Genres

Time has finally come: a non-survivor rules the Games Chart!!! Congrats Top Answer Game!!!
But there was a little change of rules that allowed this: now all games, in any forum, can chart here, and that allows this This-n-That fantastic game to take the top. Before, only games in the Games section were competing. Having this rule before, RuPaul's Drag Race: The Survivor would have been number 1 during week 2.

Goldmoney's survivor was very close... and some good news will come for him once the hot100 is published.Carbon's Noughties jumps 6-3, Songs of Summer 5-4 but Movie Songs falls 3-5 as it is reaching the final rounds.

biscuits is back! He occupies number 6 and 7. Unfrotunately, all these good news means that Girls Aloud, a very strong survivor last week, fell 2-8.

Single Cup finished and saw Goldmoney taking the crown, but it fell 4-9 and won't be anywhere next week. Closing the top10 we find Battle of the genres, my fantastic flop game.
