Colin was one of the regular posters when I started posting here, he was always friendly and funny. The Col vs Jason wars of 2007-8 were one of the most memorable things on ukmix from back then.

Horrible loss, RIP :( .

Been looking back on pics of time spent with Colin.. good memories. Those who know me on the forum will know I was well known (/am well known?) for enjoying going going out and drinking? Well Colin thought my drinking prowess was nowhere near good enough and would tell me to drink more/that I was a lightweight  I'll remember that fondly.

(with martinp).

I only wish we had hung out more.

I'm completely devastated upon hearing this.

I haven't posted here in a long long time but back in my peak postage, Colin was a big part of my time here and he always so kind, lovely and just a really down to earth great guy.

Such a tragic loss. Rest in Peace. <3

Omg that's terrible, he was so young! I never interacted with him much but it's devastating just to read the news, RIP and condolences to his family/friends :(

This is terrible news! Colin and I only had a handful of interactions on the site over the years, but he always come off as a thoroughly charming, intelligent, empathetic, and good-natured guy. It pains me to read that some careless buffoon stole away such a precious soul. Rest in peace, Col. <3

Raising a glass to this gent - haven't had an alcoholic drink since Christmas so it probably won't end well tonight. willl also be listening to a wee bit of Girls Aloud!

Just reading through his Tweets and some of the messages we shared, he was hilarious - just watching clips of his appearance on Countdown a few years ago as well. A shame he stopped posting here as he was brilliant.

What absolutely devastating news. Colin was always such a joy to speak to, and friendly to everyone on the forum. So upsetting that his life has been so tragically cut short

RIP Colin, you're a star mate

Very sad and tragic news.

He was one of my favourite posters during the days in which I was more of a prolific poster on UKMIX. Shocking to hear this news

This is so sad  Sometimes when I'm bored or procrastinating I read old ukmix threads and I've always loved reading Colin's posts - they were funny and cute, and we share a similar basic music taste so idk I guess I kinda weirdly related to him in some ways

I'm really sad for his friends and family, and those who knew him and were friends with him on ukmix - I hope you're all ok! RIP <3

So sad to hear this. I don't post that regularly anymore but I've been on the forums over 10 years and remember Colin's posts so well. He was so entertaining and such a lovely guy when we chatted many years ago. I hope they find the person who did this.
