Revival was #137 on Billboard's official year-end chart of 2015, and #18 on their 2016 list. The numbers I posted are in-line with this.

As I said in the intro, the numbers don't include SPS for weeks outside the BB200. Before the album came out, there were 2 huge download/streaming hits that are not included in the total. These totals also only include on-demand audio streaming (the same as Billboard), the RIAA certs also include video streaming (youtube, etc.).

I only have the numbers for the weeks the album charted in the BB200 for these 2…
Joanne - 885,000
Confident - 466,000

I have 496,000 for Witness.

That figure for Witness is not the SPS figure for the album while charting in the BB200. It's the RIAA total, with SPS data from before the album release and video streams.

Her SPS figures while charting in BB200 are:

BILLBOARD 200
1. – #1 – 179,957
2. – #13 – 27,633
3. – #34 – 13,867
4. – #30 – 14,052
5. – #20 – 18,000*
6. – #58 – 8,992
7. – #85 – 7,833
8. – #104 – 6,658
9. – #101 – 6,800*
10. – #157 – 5,000*
11. – #146 – 5,500*
12. – #108 – 6,578
13. – #75 – 8,158
14. – #158 – 4,833
15. – #57 – 9,000*
16. – #36 – 13,471
17. – #111 – 6,487
OUT
18. - #56 - 9,000*
Total (SPS)=352,000

(*=estimations. The other figures are real SPS figures from defjampromo PDF files)

So, if you're using only BB200 charting weeks for all the other albums (and no video streams nor SPS from tracks before the album release, as you just told another user in the post above this one), Katy is no exception.

Funny, becuse I've just seen that 352k is the figure you used for Witness in the Billboard Year End chart, so I don't get why you said here that Witness is at 496k (when we're talking about BB200 charting weeks only).

I don’t know about Revival, but Purpose never get out of the BB200 and I don’t understand, is this US sales?

nympho, stop acting like there is a conspiracy going on here. "Katy is no exception. Funny,"

oldbloke clearly stated "I only have the numbers for the weeks the album charted in the BB200 for these 2"

He did not say the number for Witness was only for its weeks on the Billboard 200.

There are too many charts and too many figures to compile. it's confusing.

LOL.
So he posts a list of albums' SPS totals saying this:

oldbloke wrote:"I only have this list, which only includes SPS for the weeks the album was in the BB200 since the December 13, 2014 issue."
Then, when asked about those three albums, he posts SPS from weeks inside BB200 only for Demi and Gaga but on the other hand he posted the RIAA total for Katy, without stating it...
When every other SPS posted in the list + Gaga and Demi's were from weeks inside BB200 only.

And if I dare to say that it's confusing, as that's the only album he's used the "total RIAA" SPS figure, making an exception, you say "stop acting like it's a conspiracy"??? You loooove drama.

I trully appreciate Oldbloke hard work, and I'm not saying he did it on purpose, but if he makes a mistake or he's not clear with something, I think we can tell him.

Correct - Billboard reported an "inclusive" total of 431,000 as of week 35 in their Nielsen Summer Report Card feature (page 13 of this thread). Don't think it included video streams though.

It's the US total since the album first charted. Before the album was released, Where Are U Now, What Do You Mean, Sorry and I'll Show You racked up TEA/SEA of at least 750,000, possibly more.

Here's the BB200 - I'll update it when the official version is released…

BILLBOARD YEAR-END: BILLBOARD 200

Rank - Estimated EAS - TITLE - Artist

23 - 746,000 - ANTI - Rihanna
I noticed that you have to go all the way to number 23 to find a solo female artist on the year-end Billboard 200. I knew female artists have been flopping a lot recently, but I didn't realize it was this bad. Although look for Taylor Swift to be #1 on this list next year.

Previously…

The last time there was no female solo album in the Billboard Year-End Top 10 was 1992 - Bonnie Raitt's "Luck Of The Draw" was the highest at #16.

The last time there was no female solo album in the Billboard Year-End Top 20 was 1976 - Natalie Cole's "Inseparable" was #21.

Back in 1970, Joni Mitchell's "Ladies Of The Canyon" was the highest placed female solo album at #55.
