My questions based on the page chartstats & the great Sharon Mawer with her webpage http://homepage.ntlworld.com/sharonmawer/

& there I find a lot of differences between them and the complete uk albumcharts posted here or the chart runs posted by you Hanboo. AND: You have many stats like them & they are different from the uk album charts thread here. For example: Bucks Fizz last week 1981 54 - in the uk albumcharts thread it was 55.

Sorry Han the next small errors
In the charts from 21.9.1946 issued Billboard No.4 Perry Como - Perry Como (RCA Victor 160). This album there not issued. RCA Victor 160 label is "Dreamland Special - Vaughn Monroe" released later. This is a fatal error in the Billboard Album Charts. In other Forums is therefore No. 4 not listed.
Joel listed this place also not.

Sentimental Date With Perry - Perry Como new from 14.2.1948 (10 weeks in the charts). From 21.2.1948 mistake with Dorohty Shay.
Please check your information

Thank you very much Hanboo. One question though. Shouldn't the Chipmunks be listed in the US Singles list as having a 50 year chart span?

You're probably referring to David Seville & the Chipmunks (big in the fifties) and Alvin & the Chipmunks, which charted in 2008.
I consider these acts entirely different.

The 50's Chipmunks have a big chart span though, album wise. They recharted on the albums chart in recent years.

Hi Hanboo,

i found a mistake again:

The Kinks

Their Ultimate Collection - firstly charted in 89 was the album: 25 Years: The Ultimate Collection

In 2002 a new album (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ultima ... s_album%29) was released!

Hi Hanboo,

another Greatest Hits-mistake

The 2008-album from Lynyrd Skynyrd is different from the 2005 version => http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynyrd_Sky ... ion_albums

Or?

A general question:

When do you seperate an album with a deluxe or other version or you don't?

One example is Band On The Run by Paul McCartney & The Wings => separated in the original & the 25th anniversary & maybe in the 2010 box-set version).

Another example are the different versions of the David Bowie albums. They are not listed separately.

Best regards

You don't have to answer, Woz did it at the uk complete album charts thread.

He confirmed that i found a lot of mistakes - in your database, too.

Please have a look.

Once again thanks for all the requested runs

Can you list Chart Runs (#2) for
The First Edition (I seen Kenny Rogers & The First Edition but not the info listed without his name which I thought should have been included, ala Miami Sound Machine/Gloria Estefan, etc.), maybe just an update is needed, I dunno your opinion,
and Lisa Hartman (If applicable, I know she released several albums in the late 70's and 80's)

Update Martika's info.

My apologies if you had already posted recently
Thanks in advance

Not sure that you will read this post (since I'm not Hanboo) but you can find the Chart runs for Bill & Gloria Gaither here or on page 358 if you don't spot the direct link I provided
