A bunch more vinyl entries? (Mansun and Phil Collins for sure but can't find evidence for REM, The Who, NWA, Stones, T.Rex, Blondie, Metallica. Megadeth is a deluxe CD). Most of them are cheap on Amazon but not high on their charts. Google Play again?

The battle for #1 is gonna be so close. :o Jess Glynne is narrowly ahead on iTunes whilst Clean Bandit are narrowly ahead on Spotify. It could go either way by Friday but i'd love to see Solo top the charts as i much prefer this out of the two contenders. :D

I was a bit unsure about how acr would work a year ago but it has made the charts more interesting when we have weeks like these.

I must admit I didn't know either but a check of wiki reveals it's the professional name for Jared Higgins, a rapper, singer and songwriter from Illinois. His track is inside the current US top 10.

In other words he's yet another rapper whose music is only successful on Spotify because rap is suddenly the flavour of the year.

Seriously though Juice WRLD, BlocBoy JP, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Pump, Kyle, Lil Yachty etc...what do these rappers actually bring to the table that the others don't? They're all the same to me. In fact it makes me realise why Drake and Post Malone are so much more successful because whilst i'm not their biggest fans, i get that they have a much stronger identity.

^It's already been longer than a year, sadly. One of them has just been shot dead, too. The controversial XXXTentacion. So his tracks and albums are rebounding.
