Anyway, I think they are uncomplete, but I'm not sure, of course!
I think you're correct. The gold certifications for 1986 are missing, I know the Norwegian singer Øystein Sunde earned one that year. Also sølvplate (silver disc) were given in these years as well.
Silver? Albums? 25.000 copies?
Yes, they were abolished in 1993 when the gold / platinum requirements were changed as well.

I think the order may be based on chart points, but I'm not 100% sure.

IFPI Finland has started a separate "physical album chart" Top 10 and it shows how streaming dominates the "regular" Top 50 chart. For example a rapper called Tapani Kansalainen is at #6 this week in physical sales but still couldn't debut in the Top 50.

What happened to the gold/platinum archive on IFPI Finland's website?
Can't seem to find it so if anyone has the link, it would be much appreciated, thanks!

At a 85% market share of streaming, there isn't much space to grow, you know... :D

i am making reference to streaming revenues not %market share.
Of course cd is about to die but as of today streaming revenues are not sufficient for artists to survive. So if streaming reached its peak, isn't there a problem!?

since jan 2018 release date no longer matters in Norway. so for example Mariah Carey - Music Box certified 8x platinum actually represents 160,000 album sold

A couple of firsts for Lil Peep and Finland.

His 1st part of Come Over When You're Sober became the first album to spend a full year in the Finnish albums chart without ever reaching Top 10. The previous best was Dua Lipa with 48 weeks.

The 2nd part was released last week and Finland is so far the only country where it went to #1.
