Moments after the news broke, twitter bots were already spreading manufactured misinformation about the gunman's name and political affiliation. I can't even be mad at the bots, it's the people that retweet this stuff without any confirmation whatsoever, all in the name of blaming "the other side", in this case, the "extreme left" as they called it. While I still don't think we know what his political stance was, does it even matter?
