I pre-ordered it so I can wait a few hours to hear it in full.

The Super Deluxe Box Set (everyone is doing these now, ugh) has Breathe and Desire (BBC Live Lounge Version) as bonus tracks as well as an additional limited 7" picture disc vinyl with Eyes Shut (Live in London) and Don’t Save Me (BBC Live Lounge Version). Its booklet contains handwritten lyrics by Olly.

I would've loved Don't Save Me as the CD bonus track on there but I'm sure it'll be on the BBC's Live Lounge 2015 album anyway.

Foundation is dark and beautiful. I don't normally go in for intros but this has a pretty wonderful aura.

There's something retro about Real - not sure if it's the structure [which is odd] or the vocal delivery - love the last 40 seconds or so.

I have few words that can describe how much I love Shine - I think it's my favourite song of the year, it's outstanding.

Take Shelter sounds like a hybrid of Disclosure/The Weeknd/what I have come to expect of Y&Y - it's pretty addictive, a quality song.

I've loved Worship since the day I heard it.

What a revelation Eyes Shut is - wasn't hugely keen on it before, but I pretty much love it now for some reason. This will be a single eventually, I think this is something he could nail in a live setting.

Ties has a killer beat, I love the middle 8.

They already have a modern-classic with King - speaks for itself. Amazing song.

I really love Desire.

I think Gold had a promising start and I love the verses - you can really hear the qualities in Olly's vocals. However, I'm not sold on the chorus. First blip.

Now wait. I never expected something like Without - absolutely amazing. I'm a sucker for a good ballad, and this ticks all the right boxes.

Border - running out of superlatives now. this is amazing.

Memo is beautiful.

I thought 1977 was forgettable.

I Want To Love will quickly become annoying I think, but at the moment - I love it.

Overall, I wanted to love this and I do; I suppose it shouldn't be too surprising given the quality of what I'd already heard, but not only is Olly a great vocalist, the group are immense producers and writers. Some of these songs are absolute poetry. One of my favourite [Electro] pop albums in a long time.

Highlights: Shine, Without, King, Worship, Real, Eyes Shut

Oh God. Let me start with the positives: Olly is an absolutely OUTSTANDING vocalist, and the most talented of any young male star today. After the first five songs I got extremely excited and was ready to call this a fantastic album, but after that there's an abundance of filler: Eyes Shut; Ties; Without; Memo; 1977; and Ready For You. Ten great songs out of sixteen is not what I expected with this at all, and the problem with it is that there are too many atmospheric ballads, whereas the area they excel in, I'm sure most will agree, is anthemic pop tunes. A very generous 6/10.

You did not just called Ties and Memo filler. :o

There is no filler.

You'd be better sticking to the standard edition.

They do nothing for me and I don't want to hear them again.

7/10 for the standard, which is fine, I suppose, but what I really wanted to give it was 11/10.

I'm surprised this album is so good tbh, cause I'm not a big fan of electronic music. But on the other hand, I have not heard their songs before - even King  For me, the only filler is 1977. There are also few weaker songs like Without and Real, but overall it's a very solid electronic album :) Just adore Shine, Worship, Eyes Shut, Ties, King, Desire and Ready For You

^ Real - a filler!? :o

On my second time playing the album in full. His voice is unbelievable - it's so immense it can make anything sound good! The "atmospheric ballads" (as someone here said) are actually my favorite in here. The electronic uptempos (minus the singles) need to grow on me.

I can't believe people calling 1977 a filler. It's their best non-single on the album.

I just find 1977 boring tbh. It's not horrible, but there's a big gap between 1977 and other 15 songs (not counting acoustic version of King).
@Real - not calling it a filler, but it's not among my top 10 songs  Overall, this album is a musical communion for my ears :)

Upon second listen only Without really grew on me, mostly because of the chorus and Olly's vocals. I also now find Ties passable. The record as a whole is so monotonous and just falls apart when listening to it all at once. Olly and his band need to give their strengths to better songs than this.

Lol, whatever. An outstanding record is interesting and has something to say. This doesn't. I'm alone in this opinion, but it's true.
