Next single.

Confirmed in the Attitude magazine interview posted today:

The release date of the next single Shine is currently up in the air, with King still very much part of the furniture for most radio stations. It’s Olly’s idea of the only “slightly positive” song on the impending debut record, the rest having been written “post-breakup, post-relationship and post-rejection.” Shine was written in the optimistic beginning phase of his relationship with his current boyfriend of nearly six months. It’s a really euphoric song but I actually find it really emotional,” he says. “I found it quite difficult to be honest in a hopeful way. It’s about hoping something works out. For me it’s hard to be that vulnerable without feeling a bit desperate.

"King" has left big shoes to fill but I think it sounds very good from the clip!

Heard a better version on YouTube, it's not as good as King but it's yet another catchy track :D

This just played on Radio 1. Ahhhh sooo good! They added more synths to this. It's so uplifting and at the same time makes me wanna break into tears!

EDIT: They played it twice!

It's nice, but nothing ground breaking on the first listen.

I really like this! It's pop heaven <3

Not as good as 'Worship' though, which would have made for a great single!

Underwhelming thus far, but anything following "King" had a hard task. "Worship" is better yes!

I want to like this but not as catchy as King for me, might just skip it and wait for the album!

At last we get the studio version, it's as I said before really catchy but nowhere as good as King, my only criticism would be the production doesn't quite sound right after hearing the live versions guess I expected it to sound different - I would be surprised if this topped the charts to be honest

Agree Worship would have been a great single choice

This is so disappointing after King
Mariah saved Xmas and Gaga is saving Pop and Hollywood.

I heard from a different forum that it samples Kate Bush's "Running Up The Hill".... :-?
