Their mothers should have drunk that watermelon and we wouldn't have to deal with their atrocious songs!!

Its being used on the MKR finals ads... its a different style for them, a step away from their dance stuff. I was surprised when they announced it was by Justice Crew.

Wait... is this #43 on iTunes just from pre-orders??

Thank god this doesn't sample the classic 'Whatever Will Be, Will Be'.

Yeh I didn't know there were "singers" in Justice Crew.
It sounds quite good and a step away from the party anthems.
It really is time for them to release an album already though!
They've had so many singles and scored some pretty big hits so I can't see why they wouldn't want to capitalize.
The audience is there.

Unfortunately, I think Ed Sheeran's Sing might have something to say about that.

I'm looking forward to this more mid-tempo/ballad-ish vibe is all.
The majority of their songs are "speak singing" (minus a few chorus parts) so I'm interested to hear who the voices will be.

Originally none of them could sing, I think they added someone with minor singing ability when they changed the line-up... pretty sure they weren't singing when I saw them live as a support.

Strong positive reaction on social media to Que Sera being sent to radios. Accordingly, Sony have moved the release date up to this Friday.

#26 on iTunes on pre-orders alone.

Be great if Sony cared about their female artists as much as they did these guys.
Congrats though.

What do you mean? The song was sent to radio a week before the release and the song was picked by Channel 7 to be used in MKR promos. I don't really see what Sony have done to make it a success. It's a hit in spite of Sony.

I think it's a bit of a coincidence that Channel 7 seem to "just happen" upon Sony songs for promo.
They have a relationship through X-Factor, Dancing with the Stars and before that AGT.
They used "Best Night" to flog this series of MKR to death before and during the series and "Que Sera" got the exposure at the pointy end of the competition where, arguably, the viewership would've been at its highest.
It's not a knock to the lads, quite the opposite.
Whoever was behind the push did a great job getting great exposure with minimal effort.
The exposure resulted in demand and had Sony push the release date FORWARD.
It worked with Tina Arena (another Sony BMG artist) getting a hit from "Only Lonely" being flogged in Home and Away promos.
I just think they should share the wealth around.

Back on topic...
Really enjoying the song.
Good stuff.

I don't suggest it's a coincidence that Justice Crew are used in MKR promos.

But Sony push their roster on Channel 7 a lot, like Never Be The Same for Revenge. So I don't really think Sony have gone out of their way or care more about Justice Crew than any of their roster.

AussiePopStar8 wrote:The exposure resulted in demand and had Sony push the release date FORWARD.
The song was strong on pre-orders and good response from radio, but I think what ultimately pushed the release date forward is 5SOS' single dominating in pre-orders and being released the same day, so Sony moved it up.

Well whatever the case it worked for them and it's a good thing.
Hopefully they'll find some spots for Samantha Jade, Dami and even Taylor to link in with shows on 7
But seriously where is an album from these guys?
Have they performed this live anywhere yet?

Taylor opened for MKTO on their tour, radio loves his brand of inoffensive pop rock. I'm more worried about Dami.

JC haven't performed it in any televised performance, but they just finished or are in the middle of(?) their tour around Australia, so I'm sure they've included it in their shows. They're shooting the video today.
