She's just using the same formula in between releases as Sia, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj and many many other more famous and established artists do. Nobody calls them desperate.
I agree with breezy. It's not desperate at all, IMO.
She's come such a long way. The album was postponed for so long. I think a lot of fans who supported her from the beginning, were afraid the album would get shelved in the end. Now it's getting a re-release with more tracks. That's great for her. Very proud of her.

As long as her second album comes out relatively quick there’s literally no issue with her releasing this again. It doesn’t feel like she’s been around that long.

You're right, it doesn't feel so because basically, the album was released too late. Released a year earlier and it would feel like Lady Gaga's debut era circa 'Alejandro' or Katy Perry's big era circa 'Wide Awake' right now.

I think she just needs to follow this up quickly with DL2 and she will be huge. I can see her becoming a main pop girl up there with Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

Finally heard the new songs and they're good, but i'm happy she put them on a new version of her debut instead of putting them onto a completely new album.

The CD version of Electricity has a longer intro and outro, I like it better than the released main version

This is the first artist in a long time, I completely fallen in love with. I love every single track of this album, including the re-release. Saw her 3 times live, have bought every version of the album I could find. And still listen to this album daily or atleast the majorty of the songs.

I really adore this album (one of the best pop albums that aren't chasing trends) but she really sucks live. She has zero stage presence and this whole subdued energy and endless Instagram posing for angles choreography gets old after a few songs.

I used to wonder why after three years of hustling, she is being treated as the poor man's Camila Cabello when Dua has the better album (and the Dua album is far better than the overhyped Sweetener from Ariana) but upon watching her performances, she is quite dull and she doesn't have any follow through impactwise since no one talks about her (unfortunately she cannot work on that).

I guess this is what makes her the Spotify darling, she is better heard on record than seen. I can't believe she can't even figure that out considering that a lot of her records are uptempo and require at least some energy and willingness from her especially since she has still so much to prove. :-? :-?

You do you, I know a lot of people don´t like her stage presence, but I have seen her live 3 times and every time she improved and everytime I had loads of fun. So does the rest of the people in the crowd around me during those shows. The ´poor man´s Camila Cabellos´ part only makes me laugh. I won´t even go into the fact you never fail to suprise me and bring Sweetener/Ariana yet into an other thread, you seem a little obsessed sis.

I saw her in Berlin. She was good. I actually didn't think I'd like her live, but she proved me wrong. I'd definitely go to her show again.

^^Exactly,

I saw her actually in 2016 supporting Troye and I was so impressed with her stage presence and how comfortable she was. And not to mention that was just the beginning of her career where she was pretty much nobody.

@GetBack did you see her live or you just mocking based on posted videos?
