It was scrapped because it was too happy and it was written from a position that she felt she was no longer in. She also said it was the Ying to Best American Records Yang in the same way Summer Bummer and Groupie Love are connected so they both had to go.

(Summer) Bummer! After the endless (summer) teasing in her recent interviews... I guess it was a last-minute decision. :(

Oh well... Knowing Lana, It will probably leak.

White Mustang is sexy af. Needs to be sent to radio stations asap, but 13 Beaches is something special. Makes me wanna cry everytime I listen to it. It's too beautiful to handle  So glad she recorded another great album. Some songs are boring (especially the last 2), but the masterpieces forced me to buy my copy

I'm aware that US radio will never embrace her  But I can see it being played in Europe tbh :) Probably I'm wrong, but it has commercial potential

Yes for "White Mustang". I wish they will promote this a bit more since it will get a video as well...

Im excited for White Mustang. Only the queen could sing a song about a huge penis and make it a single.

whaaaat :o

I figured the song could be ambiguous because it could either be about the car or the horse, but how is it about a 'huge penis'? :o

I replayed this album so many times. It's such a strong record!

This and Honeymoon are definitely her best efforts yet.

Why are you expecting to love an album after just one play?

You can tell if an album is in your lane after only one listen. It's not a mathematical equation that needs multiple tries. It's a connection; it's either there or it's not.

An album could grow on you but you can usually tell if it will.

Depends. For me, i can find an album boring as hell at first but months later it becomes a fave

Besides, this is still typically LDR, not like she went into a totally new genre or whatever. My advice is to give it some time, it's very long and listening can be a bit tiresome, but individually the songs are good and develop their own identities with more listens
