I enjoy Lorde's song but it's way more safe and generic than this.

agreed

He should have done some Melodifestivalen entry cover, they're catchy and wacky as hell, would have sold really well

#1 in the UK, finally somebody has dethroned Ed! He did it by just over 3,000 'sales'.

Definitely. The former #1 was already a #1 way too long.

I wouldn't count out Clean Bandit! #2 on iTunes, not too far behind Harry and #3 on Spotify, not too far behind Ed.

Brilliant performance :o

A few singing lessons to strengthen his voice and he'll manage the ending even bigger and better than he is now (certain notes at the very end needed to held longer. I think he tried too).

I love the whole setup - it all feels modelled on The Kinks and Davy Jones. Loving that he has a female drummer too and didn't opt for the standard all male band. New stylist needed though.

I think he won't hit his potential until his second album though. But this is certainly a promising start. I can see SOTT being his 'Angels'. It might be premature, but I do think we are seeing the start of a career as an actual artist.

If we really go by his talent, objectively, he could have a long lasting career. The performance was great indeed.
