I'm surprised tickets are that expensive. I mean the singles are not huge hits, there seems to be little interest in the album and the tour is so far away. People might forget they bought tickets for it by the time the date comes.

Ticket prices have been rising up the past decade as it has become the main money making for most artists.
PLUS Katy & co put on a huge production, which cost millions.

Hoping prices for "normal" presale will be much lower, otherwise I'm passing

How much did you guys pay? Wanted to get general admission/standing tickets and I'm not willing to pay more thann 90€ tbh
A normal standing ticket is ~ 90€ (probably ~ 100€ with all those additional fees.) on Eventim. Pre-sale was much more expensive.

Amsterdam has not been confirmed yet though. The concert promotor said on twitter that for now it's just the show on May 26th.
I do think they will add another show in Amsterdam at some point though. This first show sold out within 10 minutes.

The NYC prices aren't bad at all....you get good main area for like $250 or the cheapest is only like $70, standing right next to where she performs is almost like $1000 though while surrounding areas are $500

Extra AUS date in each city. Now 2 in Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide and 3 in Sydney and Melbourne.

Relatively few European dates...no Spain?!

I was never a Katy fan, but it's unbelievable that she is struggling so much commercially. I mean, when you're selling concert tickets for 8 dollars, something is really wrong. I think she was just focused too much on the teenagers with her bubblegum pop, and she did not manage not develop a more mature sound. Her fans back then have grown up, while the new teens are more interested in Taylor and Miley.

She's postponing the tour due to production issues though.

Is she really selling tickets for 8 dollars? :o
And she has a ticket bundle in US, so you get the ticket and the album for 8 dollars?

Nosebleeds, so I dont see the issue tbh. I would not pay more for the worst spots in an arena

Well, they're not that bad. Regular price of that section is $40-60.

I think this has been selling quite well here. Despite less hits atm, she is still very popular and known for her arena spectacles.
