Sadly, you're right :( I just hope that we will get a second single.

I was excited when she resigned to SONY and all we got was an unnecessary greatest hits. I was excited when I heard she had signed to Universal, but her management have given up on her. She's ignored almost all of Europe and put more effort into promoting some tacky grocery store clothing line. Resurrection got far more promotion and she wasn't even signed to a label. This is a mess. With the right promotion she would have scored another top ten alum in the Uk and Italy. It's over for her, and the music isn't really in her control anymore I suspect, although Im starting to think she's become clueless as to what makes a good pop record, she wants Higher Living as the next single...

Album is ok, far from bad. But once again she didn't release album that she talked about. I expected edgier rock sound.

I noticed Sony issued an other hits compilation in The Netherlands as a project with our national top 40 in June. it is just 6 to 10 euro's (depending which store) in comparison to the newly released album under an other label umbrella with a price of like 17 euro's :o

I had a quick listen to the album the other day and there's nothing really amazing here. The only tracks I've downloaded are 'Caught in the Middle', 'Redlight' and 'Higher Living'.

'Redlight' is probably my favourite, but my god, the lyrics are dire and basic on this.

I've listened to all the previews and I can't feel any soul there. It's just a random pop album made quickly for money or to coincidence with her clothing line at Aldi (it won't sell but she can go on tour at least). All the songs could've been sung and released by anyone else.
I don't feel any real Anastacia there. Yes, her voice is nice but that's it... :(

I have to change my initial opinion. I bought the album after all and think it's good. I like the production. Most songs sound current. Such a shame she's not 30 anymore to get a bit more interest and success. :(

I’m not saying I don’t like Anastacia

I think I need mood for her voice and music

And I am old enough to know what i like or not

What the hell, a song I never used again after first listen, it was bad and maybe even the worst

I assume the whole promotion for this awful album has burned out. I can't believe how underwhelming, uninspiring and dull this ''era'' was. This is how you completely kill an already suffering career lol. So dissapointed

I am surprised how a non-event this era was, the whole point to have an album out seems to she had an 'excuse' or 'reason' to tour.

It really was shocking. I was frustrated during the Resurrection era when the promotion in the UK was very patchy and badly done but I understood it might be harder to do at that time because she didn't have a full record deal, it was only a business partnership. When she signed back with a label I was expecting so much more and it actually got far worse. I thought she would manage to get a spot on Strictly to promote the single, but there was nothing

It also surprised me, since this record is also a lot more 'current' than most stuff on Resurrection, while she did various promo spots throughout Europe for that album

In terms of lyrics, the album is very basic, compare a song like Welcome To My Truth or Where Do I belong to most of this album, it's very different in quality. In terms of vocals it's also very limited, she seems almost afraid to give us an exciting climax to most of her songs. I think Stamina is a nice song, the rest is mostly forgettable

The entire album seems like an afterthought and has no business in the timeline of Not That Kind, Freak of Nature, Anastacia and Resurrection. Hell even heavy rotation. That one at least had a vision. A concept. This feels like a side project. I almost see it in the same avenue as it’s a mans world... doesn’t feel ‘proper’ to me
