Emotional is cute...but it doesn't fit the album.

Had Kesha taken the Rachel Platten generic radio pandering pop sound, Emotional would fit in fine, but in order for it to earn a spot on the album the production is too much. Rainbow is a very natural experience with either stripped down or worn-in productions for each song, and at the end of the day Emotional sounds like any other track with similar lyrical content due to its basic instrumentation

yeah sadly enough production wise it stands out for the wrong reasons.

Emotional Def doesn't fit the album so I can see why they left it off.. I really like it though!

Praying and Learn To Let Go are the obvious standout Tracks.

My personal fave is Spaceships though. Sounds ethereal in a way that I would not have expected from Kesha. This one was a surprise.

I'm finding 'Boots' more annoying the more I listen to it, so I don't think it'd be a good single choice.

I think 'Learn To Let Go' is not only the best song on the album, but should also be the next single, although being one of the countdown songs kinda shoots it in the foot a bit. Aside from that 'Let 'Em Talk' is the next best option IMO, although that kind of pop-rock sound isn't exactly popular at the moment.

I've finally listened to the album in full, and it's amazing :o

It's basically an improved version of Joanne, and I love it!

Praying still makes me emotional.
I will disappear
Go back to the earth
I'll be in the air
And in that dirt

Praying is amazing! I would let it shine on radios for two more months and then decide about second single. No rush.

The album has grown on me a lot now. The only songs I don't like are Boogie Feet (too screachy) and Rainbow (awful cheese)

Spaceships, Bastards, Let Em Talk, Boots are all so nice

Bastards reminds me of an oldie classic, it sounds very iconic both in the sound and the message

nothing's really happening in the era anymore (guess they're waiting for Praying to run its course..?), people who were interested already listened to it so.....

Learn To Let It Go is so much better than Praying, it's enough of a progression from the Dr Luke stuff without sounding like a completely different artist, I'm not really interested in listening to the full album but that should've been her comeback hit IMO
