Just listened to the album, here's my take!

1. Ready For It- still one of my favorites

2. End Game - is kinda generic but it’s still very catchy…I wish it had been titled reputation instead to be the album title track but oh well. I can see this being a single

3. I did something bad - love the beat! Great song overall!

4. Don’t blame me - wth? bleh, I feel like this kind of song feels a bit too forced on her…

5. Delicate - cute song, just don’t like the heavy autotune on her voice here….very obvious album filler

6. LWYMMD - great song, I liked it since it came out

7. So it goes… - I like it but nothing special…it’s ok

8. Gorgeous - lmao bye

9. Getaway Car - omg stop with the ugly autotune effect at the beginning already! But still. Pretty good song! Def reminds me of Out of the Woods

10. King of My Heart - idk how to feel about this one….production is sick though

11. Dancing with our hands tied - I like this one, not single material but nice to listen! Her voice sounds very nice and it’s more pop-ish than a lot of other songs on the album yes still has a bit of the heavy production...I feel a hint of 1989 Taylor

12. Dress - it was too overhyped lol so just because they’re gonna take off her dress its too much? Lol

13. This is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things - It sounds like a sister to LWYMMD, diss song I like it…her laugh thought lmao

14. CIWYW - I have loved this song since it came out

15. New Year’s Day - Beautiful song omg and it has such a sad vibe, old Taylor sound, her voice is more clear here and less processed/autotuned :)

Overall the production is very good but her voice sounds almost too robotic in all of the songs compared to her old stuff…although the production is good it can get heavy on the ears…I do feel like this might not age very well but we’ll see…overall it’s a good cohesive album I think

My favorites with the ones in bold the ones I think would make good singles including the ones that are already:
RFI
End Game
I did something bad
LWYMMD
Getaway Car
Dancing with our hands tied

TIWWCHNT
CIWYW
New Year’s Day

I can't believe she followed 1989 (my favourite album from 2014) with such a bad album. Her discography was immaculate up to this point, but this album is really hard to get into, and I don't think it's worth the struggle.

Her obsession with guys clearly comes through.

I went through 1 minute snippets by now and these are the first conclusions running through my mind:

+ riskier than expected
+ die-hard fans of 1989 will not necessarily fall for this one easily
+ overall strong production
+ tracks are very unbalanced, therefore it can be a bit overwhelming
+ she is still very obsessed with boys (and probably will be when album no.10 comes out)

Clips sound okay dunno if I can be bothered with the whole album. I hope the lack of streaming hurts her sales she’s so annoying

So...I really dig End Game. Love the production and Future actually works well on it.

I must say that I don't find it all that 'risky', different, but not that risky. it just has harder hitting instrumental parts than past stuff, but it sounds like a logical growth coming from 1989 and even Red, some songs sound like they are the more grown up siblings and family members of I Knew You Were Trouble in a way.

I must say the more I listen to the album, the less I care about the imagery, the old Taylor is still there and beside the visuals, it isn't all that edgy as it looks like. It was cute for the Look What You Made Me Do video, it already felt a bit overdone for Ready For It. So I hope she gives the rest of the singles chance to shine in a different way, so I hope she works with other people than Joseph Kahn who acts more like a fangirl these days than a director

Is it me or this album is very...electro production wise?

Well...I've never been able to digest a Tayloo album, but this one was the most accessible for me. The productions are quality! I can honestly say off of a first listen I dig about half of the album.

On the first listen through, I think the production is a bit too heavy on this album. When it goes hard and works it's great (e.g. LWYMMD), but when it doesn't quite hit, it feels like an assault to the ears. I wish there were some more organic sounding tracks on here like 'New Year's Day' and 'Call It What You Want'.

On the first run through, 'End Game' and 'Getaway Car' seem like the obvious single choices. The latter is definitely very 'Out of the Woods' as people have said.

No, I always listen to the snippets even if I don't like an album, 1989 had songs I can listen to though for example ;) so why not listen to it?
and I can only say that it is really bad or good after I have listened to it, will be the fundamental for my opinion
